Spent a relaxing couple of hours, drinking with a nice meal. Quite a small pub for a Wetherspoons. Was full constantly during our visit, service remained quick, great !
Staff are lovely Food is exactly what you get from spoons. Cocktail pitchers are fab and great value. Ladies loos weren't that nicest but clean just smelled bad bonus you don't have to walk up 7 flights of stairs to get to them.
We are staying in York for a few days and we have visited this pub a couple of times for breakfast. The service is good and quick and the food is tasty and very good value. My only criticism is that the breakfast is not very hot so needs to be eaten quickly. Will be going again tomorrow so maybe I will mention it to the staff.
Great service. Following all the latest covid restrictions and guidelines. Excellent breakfast menu.
The staff at the punch bowl were excellent with the cov19 rules 10 out of 10 thank you and keep up the excellent work you are doing
It has good food but you could just have three paints that was it
