A traditional local pub with a very friendly welcome and a good range of alcoholic and soft drinks. They were doing breakfast and lunches when I visited but not evening meals, possibly due to it still being outside the tourist season. The staff were lovely, the toilets clean and the tables cleaned and disinfected after each use. Slightly quirky as the men's toilets are in the building across the road! The clientele were also friendly and chatty, would definitely visit again.

First time visitor and was pleasantly surprised. The food was excellent, great portion sizes, fair pricing. Very welcoming staff. And a great atmosphere. Will most certainly return again one day. Highly recommend.
Traditional old pub, didn't eat but food looked good. Knowledgeable host and friendly.
An adorable and welcoming pub in the heart of historic Cornwall. The traditional interior makes for a cosy space. The staff are all so friendly and make you feel right at home. The pub offers a pretty broad selection of drinks and often has some great offers on. What really wins it for this pub besides the service is the fantastic food and gorgeous Sunday roast, you need to try everything because it’s all so good!
Drinkers pub great food
Popped into this pub for lunch as was just passing! I was not disappointed! Super nice barman great relaxed atmosphere. The steak an kidney pie was great and reasonably priced! Recommended
Well to be honest I thought the lady behind the bar was joking when I asked where the toilet was . She pointed across the main street to some public toilets .. the pub is on a busy bend of the street lol and watch out big time for the unmarked step which got me twice. The food looked nice but it wasnt on the menu we were given; a locals only offer we concluded.
This is a cosy warm welcoming pub , we had a bit to eat and coffee and both very nice , the place is cleaned to a high standard and staff a welcoming and happy in there work , will call in again and would recommend
