Really nice. Has some options for veggies that are not on the menu. I enjoyed my mushroom tagliatelle, and my family enjoyed their steaks. They were a bit short staffed, but the waitress was very polite, hardworking, and apologetic.

Stopped off for dinner. The interior is lovely. The staff are attentive. The choice of drinks good. The food very mediocre. I think there are nicer pubs around but if you are struggling to find a pub open on a Tuesday night, this one is.Service: 3/5
Excellent customer service - we had arrived in Cornwall earlier today and have struggled to find anywhere to eat even our own b&b was fully booked! A lovely lady answered the phone and squeezed us in 10 mins after the kitchen closed! A lovely meal was cooked and our first evening of the weekend was saved! Can’t thank you guys enough!!!! PS the garlic bread is absolutely amazing worth a try!!
Really good food. New chef learning but the portions were massive really big. Went away full. A few tiny hiccups but got a free drink and dessert which was so kind.
Very polite, personal and professional staff. Pleasant atmosphere. Nice beers despite small range. Food was very nice, food waiting time was okay, prices were inexpensive. All meals were enjoyed. 5 & 6 year olds were given kids menu and crayons. My Dad complained to me about his food but he always does. Well recommended.
Ive lived in Launceston going on six months now and i cant believe ive only just found this place! the staff, the locals, the hostility is amazing but all that looks plain when compared to the food that gets served here. Im so far from home but feel like ive just walked through my mothers door whenever i enter come here! 10/10Service: 5/5
Amazing place, amazing staff but small bar. Welcome to Cornwall I guess. Be nice to have some live music like years ago, but still a tip notch night with staff who care about customers.
Very good food, although our 1st two choices weren't available at 8pm mixed grill and halloumi kebabs would have ordered fish but there wasnt any on main course choices. Had cajun chicken which was lovely and our friend ordered a steak which again was lovely but when he asked for a steak knife he was told that they had run out. The waiting staff were very courteous and regularly checked if we would like more drinks but missed an opportunity to up sell as there was no mention of dessert menus or coffees to tempt us to. Will definitely go again but would book an earlier time to ensure all menu choices are available. Pub has been updated since our last visit and looks clean and fresh
Excellent Sunday carvery. Outside seating available.Friendly helpful staff. Very generous portions and choice of 4 meats. We sat in public bar as we had dog. Locals were very friendly. Floor has flagstones. Soft furnishings could do with a makeover in there and chairs with reupholstering. Food quality compensates for this. There is a large car park. Toilets are clean.
