Fabulous find!! This pub is a little gem just off the A30 into Cornwall. We wanted to break up our journey for lunch and ate really pleased we found 'Eliot Arms'. I booked beforehand and was impressed by the warmth shown on the confirmation phone call. This warmth continued throughout our visit from the welcome and service at the bar to the food and farewell greeting! We ordered Sunday Roast Lamb and Beef & a 4oz Burger which were all huge portions & absolutely delicious. The service was very quick and friendly. The staff clearly love their jobs and its location in the village. The specials board had a large choice of deserts which we just couldn't resist- again huge and perfect. Will definitely be returning when in the area or indeed when returning from our holiday! Highly recommended!
The image is a place mat! We came here completely at the last-minute on a November Sunday, for lunch, as it is just off the A30. A picturesque pub, clearly popular and busy but they fitted us in quickly. Good drinks and menu choices - we settled on a Sunday roast beef. Friendly and speedy service, very good value. Dogs allowed.
Best pub around meals are outstanding staff are friendly and welcoming. Such a great place to be. See you next week for our xmas meal.
Lovely little pub. Food was fantastic huge portions and the service was fab. X
Me and my family spent a week in Cornwall and ate here nearly every night. Excellent food every night. Absolutely lovely and helpful staff. Couldn't fault it at all. The meals were amazing and prices were fair! Will definately be coming back when we are next in Cornwall!
Lovely local pub with an amazing atmosphere full of history! Food was made with love and portions were super generous. Medium rare steak cooked to perfection! Julie was an absolute sweetheart - so attentive and kind. Bar man was great too with the local ale suggestions! The place is full of stories, it was a wonderful stop for food. Would definitely recommend!!
Visited this lovely pub on our last evening while on holiday nearby but wish it was the first evening, the pub has a great atmosphere with loads of decorations around and ran by very friendly people! The food was amazing with huge portions to fill you up more than enough, the burgers we had where nice succulent fresh tasting burgers with excellent salad and a very generous portion of chips with prices you can't beat, very highly recommend going to this pub
Wonderful lunch. Glad we booked, as it was busy for a weekday lunchtime. Huge portions of food. Delicious. Venison burger was a hit for all who had it, as was the steak and kidney pie. Great service. Would highly recommend this place.
Amazing place, so much history inside the walls, very traditional, Good sized portions, lovely food, reasonably priced. Staff are very friendly and we had a lovely visit, our first time and will visit again, one improvement could be a lunch menu. : thanks for having us.
Fantastic! Friendly staff, welcoming atmosphere and the food was just so tasty and very good value for Money! We had the pie, fish and kids sausages.
