Was rejected for wearing a Manchester United shirt for winning fa cup bouncer was unfair I suggested I wear it underneath my shirt he said no I asked politely to speak to manager he said yes she's here and manager who was a lady was so lovely and said you can wear it underneath and keep calm. Very good customer service and polite lady very impressed
If I could leave a 0 star review I would. The manager / supervisor who was working on Saturday 13th April 2024 at 1am needs to be sacked. Brown hair, piercings in her bottom lip I apologise I didn’t get your name. I will never understand why when we accidentally ordered 2 doubles for £9 instead of 2 triples for £5 you couldn’t just pour more vodka in?? It was petty and uncalled for. Did we really need to be kicked out for that with no aggravated tone being used. The only one who raised their voice was the rude bartender who served us in the first place. She needs sacking too. It was a joke. I genuinely cannot believe how rude and unprofessional this was. I am not one to write a review but higher management needs to be informed of this incredibly disappointing experience. First time visiting this bar and I will never ever come back. Sorry we had to complain like this.
Zero stars if I could. Horrendous staff on the door. I was in the queue with two of my friends, when two men out of nowhere verbally abused my friend, calling him gay. We couldn't believe what was happening, nor could other people in the queue. A blonde haired female staff member on a power trip then denied us entry and demanded we left. We insisted we had done nothing wrong and were victim of a random homophobic attack. She laughed, sniggered and hid behind her male bouncer as she refused to listen to what had happened. Other people in the queue tried their best to tell them that we had done nothing wrong and that it was not fair. But no, they would not listen. It would seem this woman is homophobic herself and/or incapable of having any empathy or understanding for others.
Me and my girls love West Street live. It's cheap and cheerful. The staff are always so friendly and they play a variety of music. We love to start the night out here.

You only have to skim through the reviews and see how many times that vile blonde door ‘woman’ is mentioned. She’s a bully, refuses entry to people for absolutely no reason and then laughs in their face hiding behind her cronies. Even the police officer said she’s always on a power trip. She wants sacking, absolute wrong un.
Nadine was amazing. Within the space of 2 drinks she remembered what drink I wanted to order. Fantastic night out extra special because Nadine was so fantastic.
Bouncers are shocking, refuse entry for no reason whatsoever which makes me wonder if they're just bored. Party of 20+ people allowed in, but my friend has just been asked to exit - she's 25 and the least drunk of us all, wonder if the female bouncer was on some power trip. won't be coming here again because of the bouncers
Would not let me in as a 31 year old woman with a valid form of id citizenship card but let multiple men in without asking for any id. I’ve been coming to and championing this bar for the age of 18 and I think that it is ridiculous to not let a woman of legal age inside!
Wanting to go into this venue last night but was unable to go in as the bouncer wanted our ID, now please correct me if I'm wrong but when does a 45 year old need to be asked for ID lol its a joke! He couldn't even tell me why he needed it just that I need to show ID to go into the venue. Bonkers and agest lol
