"Our pub is open from 8am-noon for breakfast and offers free refills on tea, coffee and hot chocolates. For our main menu available from 11:30am, there are lighter bites and deli deal options including vegetarian choices, gourmet burgers or steaks and freshly made pizzas. Wetherspoon has championed a wide range of drinks, including real ales or craft beers, gins, rums, vodkas, wines and soft drinks. Classic Wetherspoons. Nothing crazy, but what you expect. They had the Steak Club on Tuesday which was quite nice. You can choose a soft drink or alcoholic drink to go with it more expensive with the alcohol. Also depending on the sides it can be cheaper. Restaurant seemed clean and service was friendly.
The menu is always absolutely abysmal as they usually have only half of the options available both drink and food. This visit the fryer was broken so couldn't have the things we came here for. The tables are always dirty and service is incredibly slow, only come for the convenience of the location. EDIT: Dont know why I ever return except for ease but it's always a terrible experience. This time we ordered pizza, 10 minutes later "we've run out of dough" so changed for a cheese burger. Burger arrived with onion on the plate not on burger and n o c h e e s e. How? They fixed it by bringing me a slice of cheese on its own private plate. Laughably incapable.
Didn't eat so cannot comment about food. Extremely slow service there were 6 bar staff serving however it was not busy to warrant waiting over 20 minutes yo be served. I moved to the opposite end of the bar due to waiting 20 minutes and was told bluntly by a female member of staff to move as I was stood on the wrong place. I apologised and advised I had been waiting 20 minutes further down which is why I had moved. I observed her to roll her eyes as she ignored my comment. Had i not been with a large group of friends some who had already gotten drinks I would have left due to the poor customer service. When I eventually was served the bottle of Peroni I did buy for my partner was warm I asked for a cold one or a replacement as it was warm I was refused. I will not visit this venue again if this is the service. I work a high stressed and busy job but I would never speak to clients abruptly or ignore them manners cost nothing!
£2.80 for a pint of doom bar. Nothing else really to say. Looks ok. Service is good. Food is the usual fair but on the cheaper side.Service: 4/5
Love the atmosphere, the staff are all lovely. My meal comes right on time EVERYTIME!!! Easily best spoons in Sheffield. The pub manager is a barrel of laughs every time I walk in also. 5 STARS FROM ME.Food: 5/5
I went here for a drink. We used the app and it took ages to come. In future I would go to the bar. On the plus side, it was Saturday night and it was a great atmosphere. I didn't have any food so can't comment on that.Service: 2/5
Fantastic atmosphere and the staff are always friendly to! Myself and a few friends always go on the Tuesdays as they have a steak offer for that day! Great quality in food and always cooked the way I've asked, would definitely recommend! Service was shocking swore as she placed food on table as plate was hot. Curry was nice but quite runny and there was a bit of plastic lid from the container in it which became apparent towards the end of eating. All other elements not great, nann cold, poperdoms covered in mucky grease. Samosas and onion bhaji over cooked on outside but raw and cold in middle. Not even asked if things were OK when clearing away even though they could see a lot was left. Then asked to replace shoes as taken off and you have to be fully clothed in a weather spoons. Less vidulant when clearing tables as empties were left with us after staffs comment on shoes. Staff are unpolite. After a while items were removed by what later seemed to be an area manager will explain shortly. Stated he would get a manger to speak to us and then proceeded to sit and discuss the decor of the pub while looking directly at us. Not a great experience. Won't return.
Another unusual Wetherspoons. I always like to find a Wetherspoons when we are on our travels. Not the most usual building we have come across but all the same interesting. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was good as usual. Table's were clean and tidy. Usual good standard. Another one for our list.
Off the Wetherspoons available in the Sheffield City centre, strange but you always feel one is better than another, and Sheffield is no different. This is still a Wetherspoons but under their No 1 band, all the usual Wetherspoons offers are available. We ate here, and while one of our dishes was not right to start with, they quickly replaced it.
