Great music venue great groups nice staff and door man
The best venue in the area. Absolutely fantastic atmosphere, great sound, reasonable prices, had a great time many times and love to come back again.
Been to few gigs here. Great venue with a great layout. Nice and friendly staff!
S'okay. Not huge. Drinks are okay, but not cheap. Pint and a half nudging £7. Plenty of bar staff and good service. Clean toilets, which is always good. Usually 2 events each Saturday, so if you go watching a band early doors expect them to be done by 10:45.
Great basement music venue. It's intimate without being claustrophobic. Beers prices are reasonable compared to other venues in Manchester. Great place to see your favourite band as long as you don't follow someone with a massive fan base.
Seems like a decent little live music venue. The sound was good on the night and I enjoyed all the bands. Staff seemed friendly enough. Drinks were a bit on the pricey side as they often are at live music venues but I've been to places that charge far more.
Fantastic live venue with the best atmosphere ever. The stage has low ceilings so it isn't the best to play on, but the crowd here are always really up for it. Already looking forward to next time!
Having read the reviews, it was with some trepidation that I went to the Ruby Lounge on 5/7/13 to see The Temperance Movement. What a pleasant surprise! As small venues go, it was everything you need. Sound quality was great and I had a really good view of the stage. Toilets were clean and had loo roll and soap as well as a working hand dryer. Bar was well stocked and plenty of bar staff although drinks were quite expensive. Don't be put off this venue by the bad reviews, go see for yourself!
Excellent venue. Intimate space and good stage area
While not exactly big there have been several great bands that have played here and the venue had good sound. Everything here is a tight ship but with the ability to seat yourselves down and have a few drinks makes this a cut above some venues.
