Was at front desk asking about next blood clinic Katrina the nurse heard me asking the receptionist and offered to do my repeat blood test there and then. Felt Katrina went way above and beyond her duties to save me coming back in another day. Elaine. Today Friday 6/4 I rang for a appointment the receptionist Tracy went above and beyond to offer me a appointment. Tracy couldn't of been more helpful and a appointment was made for me . Great staff and doctors at beacon primary care. Elaine

Utterly incompetent, couldn't get treatment for a month and a half, when I asked for a callback from my doctor to move this forward due to the pain caused I was told I wouldn't be able to speak to them for two weeks, when I finally did get an appointment I was sent to two different practices. When I tried to organise a flu jab I was told I would have to pay as I was not a priority patient, despite being a type 1 diabetic who are amongst the highest priority to receive these jabs. I then had to call 111 to organise an emergency appointment with my GP for the pain, wherein the receptionist told me that I wasn't able to be seen. If you are a student or a future student at the university, don't both changing practices to here, you'll be better off just staying with your current GP and commuting as you'll probably make it there, receive treatment and get back before this absolute disgrace of a practice even answers the phone.

A doctors surgery which doesn't own nail clippers This title should tell you all you need to know about beacon primary care and the service they provide. Iv had the a infection in my toe nail for a month so I decided to go visit beacon primary care. After waiting for 2 weeks for a appointment with a nurse I went in just 4 days before christmas. Here I explained to the nurse (Pam Bradley)what was happening with my foot and how the infection was going to spread if no action was taken. This did not trigger the Pam Bradley to take any action as the she sat back in her chair, not once did the nurse examine or take a closer look at my foot at all my toes, this I was shocked with as I'm sure most patiants can understand. I was then informed that the surgery would only take action if the inflection was to be found 100% fungus if the inflection was to be found as fungus then I would be placed on a course of tablets which should help me (the nurse did not know the name of the tablet but after some research myself I found out that the tablet could have potential liver complications). The nurse then explained that samples would have to be sent off the the lab to be tested to see if the infection was to be fungus. This I was happy with as I felt that I was finally getting the service that I desired 2 weeks earlier when I tried to book the appointment. The sample that would be sent off the the lab would of the nail clippings I was then horrified when I was informed that beacon primary care does NOT own nail clippers and I would have to take the clipper at home then return to the surgery to send my sample off to the lab. This I took on the chin as I couldn't be anymore disappointed with the service I had received, as a young man always on his feet this was the last thing I wanted to hear. This appointment couldn't of lasted any longer than 5 minutes. Then I comes to today when I am writing this review, I wanted to find out the results of what the lab had found so I called the surgery only to be left on hold for 10 minutes and then to be hung up on without getting the chance to speak to any representative of beacon primary care. If google would allow me to put a half star review then this would be one.
