Most of the staff are lovely, however several times recently I have have issues with one particularly rude staff member. I am autistic and struggle with auditory processing; this person speaks very quietly, doesn’t give clear instructions and becomes exasperated and belligerent when asked for clarification. I leave upset and overwhelmed every time I have to deal with this person. More training on how to deal with disabled customers is definitely needed, I will be avoiding using this post office from now on unless absolutely necessary.
Outstanding service and the ladies are brilliant! The best post office in Manchester
Hi. the staff are lovely and very helpful. But there's an issue with waiting times. i queued up for nearly 30 minutes and there were probably, 20 in the queue during lunchtime when most people came out of work to post stuff. It would be helpful if there is a replacement staff when one is having a lunchtime. The staff work hard but I think management need to notice what is happening at the post office to their customers, if managment feels their customers are important..... i am considering going somewhere else after using this post office for 7 years
Always busy. Always friendly and efficient under a lot of pressure. We are lucky to still have it
Arrived at the post office before the cut off for special deliveries, waited in a long queue only only to be told that I'd missed the deadline for special deliveries because the bag which hadn't been put in the van yet had been tied. Apparently undoing the knot was too hard work, staffed by jobs worths.
I left early from work to pick up a parcel. Once I arrived, I was told it was not there and was recommended to head to Graville St Post Office. Upon investigation with Parcel Force it was proven that the parcel was at this West Didsbury Post Office. The assistant at the Post Office said she would be able to provide it if I made our way back straight away, which I did. 3 minutes later I arrived at West Didsbury Post Office to have the door shut in my face. Very poor service.
Twice I have posted from this post office for my shipment to not arrive at its destination in India. The first time was more than a year back. The second time two weeks back was my own fault, I guess, for still trusting this service with an important document.
When ever we go into this post office all the staff are friendly and happy to help which you don't often get nowadays
Always a good service from frequently unappreciated and underpaid staff. Chief man is efficiency personified. Always busy: a priceless local asset for all of the 35 years I’ve used it.
We're so lucky to still have this local facility in West Didsbury. Great regular staff who know the customers. Convenient card & stationery shopping + some sweet household shopping goods too.
