I rate this place highly as their pasties are really good with a variety of different fillings. I like the lamb and mint, the steak and Stilton or the large traditional pasty. My biggest criticism here is the lack of anywhere to sit down. This leaves you to walk around the station while eating your pasty of choice.
I bought a bacon roll from the Victoria station kiosk outlet , in the past the quality was good , but two days ago when I ordered one it was absolutely vile ! , bacon looked and was barely cooked , and smelt nasty , the roll was stale and actually was reheated before my eyes , a greasy spoon would of sold you better and cheaper .
They have an evening deal with any medium pasty and a drink... They had no medium pasties ready before my train was due to depart so they gave me a large one for the medium deal price... It was warm and tasty! Well done guys for not allowing me to travel home hungry and disappointed
I have never pondered the thought of how long a potato wedge needs to sit under a hot lamp for the innards of that potato to physically evaporate from the inside out. Props to their R&D department for achieving what was possibly unintentional. Easy to carry. That said, the lady working the counter was cheerful and a delight to do business with.
Forget Burger King or Maccy D's, this is where I will always stop off before the late train home! This fresh savoury pastry is definitely my wekaness. The large traditional is definitely my favourite, but all the other options are just as tasty. Served fresh and hot with better cuts of meat, more filling and cheaper than the burger equivalents I don't know why the queues here aren't as long as those at MD's next door, but at least it means I can get served quickly I guess!
Terrible experience. The pastry was rock hard so was probably cooked yesterday and just heated up, the filling was cold and consisted of onions potato and gristle! nothing good to say about this place!
Pasty chain serving traditional and other varieties of pasties. On this occasion my pasty was luke warm at best and only took a couple of bites. I doubt I’ll be back.
When I go to Penge East I get the train from Victoria. If I arrive at Victoria early sometimes I buy a medium black america no. Expensive for £2.40 but if it is one a week not that bad. Nice coffee.
While staying in London near Victoria station and using the Underground a lot I had the pleasure of eating here twice and can say the sausage roll is great but with that flaky pastry not easily eaten neatly!
Great selection of pasties, Raging Bull is my favourite. Would have given a higher score but the kiosk seems to be in need of a refurb
