Manna Dew is absolutely leading the charge in gluten free specialty pastries in London and the U.K. I challenge you to find better! They take such care to ensure the most high quality ingredients and they are constantly working to improve the production process. They are an RND bakery, meaning they are constantly working to improve the texture and form. The taste is so good you’ll be asking yourself how it’s gluten free!! My favourites are the pain au chocolat and the cheese twist. But all of the products are divine. The price point exactly and fairly represents the high quality of the ingredients and the craft. Best pastries in London. Thank you Manna Dew, Mo and the team. Dietary restrictions: Gluten free & vegan available
I ordered 6 gluten-free pastries on Tuesday, was baked Wednesday, and I received it at 2pm Thursday from DPD. The delivery was £6, well worth the delivery to central Scotland. I was given an email at every stage of the order process to delivery, even the gluten-free testing results. Each pastry was carefully wrapped in soft corrugated paper/cardboard and individually sealed in its own sandwich bag. I bought; Almond Crossiant Pain au chocolate Cinnamon whirl Maple & pecan twist Vegan Crossiant and All butter Crossiant. I heated them in 2 methods; in the microwave for only about 25secs, or in Airfryer for 10mins at 160°, microwave gives a lovely warm and soft way to eat it, the airfryer gives a warm beautiful crisp to the pastry and is very much like normal pastries. They were amazing. I've never experienced the taste and texture of gluten-free pastries like that before, I do not think anyone would know they were gluten-free!! I did want to take a photo of each pastry as I was ready to serve, but the excitement and anticipation made me forget each time. I would highly recommend it, and I will be a returning customer. It is a must try!
I came all the way from Bosnia to try their delicious bakes and I was not disappointed. I‘d come back for this art piece million times. An absolute recommendation! Other thing that I tried was cinnamon swirl and it was 10/10 as well.
The best gluten free pastries you could find anywhere. Worldwide. What kind of sorcery is this?! Not me thinking I had the best pastry of my life only to be told it was gluten free. I had NO idea. Staff were so kind too. Pain au chocolat was so good I went back for the cheese twist, amazing!!!! So good for gluten free and just anyone that wants a banging pastry. So so good
The best gluten AND dairy free pastries i’ve ever tried in my entire life. The first time i tried these was when my boyfriend ordered a box with a bunch of pastries for my birthday. They were so good that I felt emotional! You might think they’re expensive but it’s well worth the price considering how delicious they are and how you won’t die in agony from consuming dairy/gluten!
I was surprised today with an incredible carrot-based birthday cake from my partner. Definitely the best I have ever had. Also accompanied by lots of smaller pastries that were just brilliant. Highly recommend, made my birthday that little bit more special this year :
Hands down the best gluten free pastries I’ve had in over 25 years of trying everything on the market. So good my whole family eat these, including my kids who are not gluten free. I keep them in the freezer and lift out to defrost before the weekend, a few minutes in the oven and the quality is consistently amazing!Food: 5/5
Despite there being no store front the lovely owner and staff offered some items on hand, fresh to purchase. These gluten free pastries are absolutely incredible, I am coeliac and fiancé is not….his verdict is these pastries are some of the best pastries he’s ever had. We were both extremely silent after the first bite as we could not believe that this was in fact gluten free. Thank you so much for putting your years of craft into perfecting this amazing recipe and sharing it with the community. I am all the way from NZ, have done another order and plan on doing one more large order before I leave next week. Order online and be blown away by these magical, tasty treats. Thanks again team. I am dreading going back knowing that these delicious pastries are a 24 hours flight away!
THE BEST gluten free croissants and pastries. I have no idea how Mo makes gluten free croissants so incredibly flakey, light and delicious, the man's a genius. I have ordered online from Manna Dew again and again, and I highly recommend their mail order service. I am currently eating a pistachio croissant, which as a long time coeliac is such an incredible treat! Yes they are expensive, but they are 100% worth the price and the delivery is always prompt and in the prearranged delivery slot. The quality of the ingredients used, the amount of work that has gone into developing the range and the resulting end product is simply excellent. Make sure you reheat them per the instructions provided by Manna Dew, to get them crisp and delicious.
I don’t like to leave bad reviews on Google but this bakery gave me no choice. I placed an order on the 18th October to be delivered on 29th October as a surprise for my mother’s birthday, on the 21st October I discovered she’d be out of the city on the date of delivery so I sent an email to cancel the order 8 days before the delivery was due. I still haven’t received a response, I have sent them a WhatsApp message too and tried to call them- the number goes to voicemail. I tried to change the date of delivery, but the delivery company refused as the items are perishable. I am now out of pocket £40.20 with no baked goods and no response to any of my messages or emails. Awful customer service and very disappointing as my mother loves their gluten free pastries.
