I don’t want to give even 1 star but it’s still platform asking to rate atleast minimum.nI am still at hospital I came here around 3:30 am today and it’s now 6:30 am but no doctor turned up yet . Talking to a representative said they all are waiting for doctors .nI am here not for myself but for my neighbour . She got severe pain in ear from few days and today when it becomes unbearable she called emergency nhs helpline and they suggested emergency hospital Watford near to our Residence and it’s been so long waiting for any emergency treatment .nThing is the healthcare system here is just totally on paper and in reality it’s worst .nIrony is They call it emergency hospital and till now apart from having a conductor checking BP of all patients nothing is being done yet .
All I can say is WOW! What an experience, I felt quite ill, but I wasn’t the one sick. I took a dear friend into A&E at 4am she didn’t get seen until gone 8:30am. She had triage on arriving but I guess they concluded she’d live past 9 without treatment. The hospital looked as though it was a shelter, definitely needs an upgrade. I’m considering offering my services as a decorator. Doctors were in the minority hence the wait, other staff were in the majority. All looking tired tho. I don’t blame the work force for the service. We need better leaders who value the staff. And we the public should insist upon it. 2024, it felt more like 1894.
I had the opportunity to stay at Watford General Hospital and I would like to share my very positive experience regarding this hospital. The medical staff, including doctors and nurses, were of the highest caliber. The professionalism, dedication, and empathy demonstrated by all staff members were truly impressive.nnThe conditions of my stay in the hospital were also very good. Cleanliness and order were maintained at the highest level, which significantly contributed to my comfort and sense of security during my stay. The nurses were not only competent but also very kind and helpful, making the recovery process much easier.nnI can wholeheartedly recommend Watford General Hospital to anyone in need of medical care. My experience at this hospital was very positive, and the quality of care I received exceeded my expectations.nnMichał
Urgent care needs to be removed & all the staff & resources should be part of A&E. Things would move a lot quicker! Rather than being seen by 3 sets of staff taking BP twice in urgent care & once in A&E, 2 sets of Doctors urgent care AND then A&E... how is that a good use of anyone's time?nnx2 Dr's in A&E just chilling, waiting till their shift is over instead of seeing patients. I asked how long it would take to be seen, some had been waiting 5 hours... who manages A&E & what clients are seen & for what?
Clean. Efficient and kind staff - from the Porters to the surgeons. Nurses go out of their way to make sure you are happy and the doctor took the trouble to come and see me at 9.30pm, even though he had telephoned me at 9pm. Everything was explained thoroughly. So kind, everyone.
