If I could post no stars I would!!! This place is an utter disappointment. I was referred here by my local hospital at 23 weeks to have a private NIPT test which involves taking bloods for further tests for abnormalities and they had also offered a 2D and 4D scan with pictures that came with the package. This test isn’t offered on the NHS so we forked out £400 to have this done here. First of all the wait was around an hour before being called in. When going in for the scan we requested the sonographer not to reveal the gender as our first baby we wanted to keep it a surprise... I had requested a heartbeat bear before when filling out the forms and nothing had been recorded but when asking after the scan had been completed the woman on reception said “oh sorry we have run out of blue bears” not once did we request a blue bear then going on to explain because it was a boy. We then find out the lady on reception was the manager/owner of the clinic. I was told to come in at my inconvenience a week later to have the heartbeat recorded again as “they didn’t have time” and that my baby was too early to be able to see on a 4D scan so the manager said I will note this down and just call in to book at around 29-30 weeks to have this done again. I called up a couple of weeks ago to book an appointment as I did not want to pay a further £100 elsewhere as this was previously a part of my package and was under the impression I did not need to pay again, I was then told over the phone that I’d be charged for the 4D scan and the manager had not noted this down on the system. Considering we were referred by the local hospital for a serious matter you’d think they’d treat you better. Me and my partner are absolutely livid that our surprise was given away and that such a place would be unbelievably unprofessional. My friend had also called up to pay for the heartbeat bear as a surprise but the clinic had called me back instead of my friend and completely gave the surprise away AGAIN! The one photo they gave us of the scan was tiny you could barely even see the baby. Completely disgusted and absolute robbery. We ended up going to window to the womb where from start to finish was such an amazing experience and well worth the money. Go there instead!! £400 is so much when you’re expecting a baby but I suppose the money is all they care about rather than providing a service for care for people who are using them to obtain information for the health of their unborn baby!!!!! Horrible horrible place.
Might be a good place for conformed pregnancies, but if you’re going for a first early scan I wouldn’t recommend. I was 4 weeks pregnant, and after 10 positive tests I have been told that the pregnancy is either “in my head” by the lady that did the scan, either ectopic. It has ruined all the joy of finding out that I’m pregnant, and was awful. They didn’t even think that I might be too early, nor I’ve been told that at any point. I wouldn’t recommend under any circumstances, and if I could complaint to get a full refund I would, £80.00 wasted in vain, at the hospital they could see both the sac and the yolk.
Went here for first early scan and wellbeing check. Waiting around forever without any apologies. Then when it came to our scan it was rushed through, I suppose to make up for their time lost. Wouldn't recommend and made the whole experience horrible
