Friendly staff, characterful rooms and a great breakfast. Fabulous location in a lovely part of dublin. Very rough around the edges though which I do not expect for the high price we paid.

Very classy and a great breakfast. Definitely gives more of an old-world feel than a chain hotel. I only had problems with heating in the room -- it was ridiculously hot in our room even with the chilly weather outside.

Great small hotel. Breakfast will certainly set you up for the entire day. Central. Historic building. Rooms a bit cramped but warm and good beds. Helpful staff.

I enjoyed my stay at the Waterloo Lodge. It's one of those Georgian townhouse B&B's scattered through Dublin, and it's quite good. The room I stayed in was charming and quaint. I did not try the breakfast.

Was walking distance (10mins) from the RDS which was perfect as we went to see Justin Bieber. The room was perfect and cool considering Dublin was going through a heatwave. They were also quite spacious which a very spacious bathroom and beds were very comfy. Parking was also reserved and only costs €4 extra or otherwise you park on the street which you need a parking disc. However, parking in front of this guesthouse was quite tight to get out of and was the only downfall we had. It was quite difficult to get out and took numerous manoeuvres, so would suggest if you had a small car it would be more suited.
