Very friendly welcome by reception. Quick and easy registration. Room in very good condition. The only small improvement could be proper noise free windows. This is actually many times an issue in the region.
Great Hotel / Car Park- HighlightednGreat hotel that is very up to date. It was clean and very relaxing. It’s about a 30 minute walk to the city centre. I would respectfully highlight that the car park information was not clear and misleading. It is on a first come first serve basis. This was not highlighted in the booking. Meaning I had to park on the road away from the hotel when I was notified of car park being full at check in. Please update that information on websites so customers know they may not have full access to a car park.
So first place my Dad and I stayed once we arrived in Dublin. The staff was amazing during our two night stay! From sharing knowledge of the area. To making sure we had a much needed umbrella when we left. Comfortable nicely appointed accommodations. Good food and did I mention the attentive staff... Definitely would recommend a stay here
The rooms were nice . The bed very comfortable. They provided many pillows. House keeping was good. Water pressure was not that great. This hotel advertised free parking, but the car park is always full. Nobody at the front desk tells me how to use the car park. ie getting in and out. The location is good. Many restaurants within walking distance.
We enjoyed our stay at the Mespil and being south of Dublin city center, as it’s much quieter. Yet, we were still able to access the Dublin sights we wanted to see on foot 25-ish minute walk to St. Stephen’s Green; you could also easily take a bus or taxi.nnThe rooms were modern, well appointed, quiet, and comfortable - so quiet we felt like we were the only people in the hotel although we weren’t. Beds were comfy. Housekeeping makes the beds daily and refreshes water in your mini fridge. We enjoyed the hotel buffet breakfast one morning before a tour and it was wonderful - anything you could want to eat. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly.nnWould happily stay again!
