Extremely, helpful friendly staff! Recognized us after meeting one time. The manager went out of his way to look for a place that rented motorcycles. The rooms are immaculate, and very comfortable. We enjoyed 2 evenings in the bar, which was very nice; the bartenders were attentive, extremely kind, and fun. We stayed here the first two nights of our visit on here in Ireland, then returned for the last night. We we're happy to be spending the last night here!

Was a bit chaotic checking in and had no seating available in the lobby. Nice place overall though. Would definitely go back. The bar in the rear was very nice

Lovely, clean, comfortable. Staff is excellent, restaurant and separate bar were very nice. My room looked out at the canal.

Modern hotel, fairly busy last weekend due to rugby match. Staff very courteous and staff member Glenn was extremely helpful sorting out car parking for me, taking into account my mobility issues. Dinner and breakfast very enjoyable.

My review is really just about the bar rather than the hotel. Like so many hotel bars, this one is somewhat soulless. The service is good, but it lacks atmosphere. Part of of that is because it is not particularly crowded. But then, that's part of it's appeal. Lots of the pubs around here get incredibly crowded. Especially if there is a rugby match on in the nearby stadium. Or at Christmas. But you will generally find room at the Mespil. So if you are looking for a quiet spot for a drink away from the madness of many of the other pubs in this area, this could be a good choice.
