Firstly I didnt know there was post office and had to ask my hubby he told me it's in the shop.lol I'm new to this place but I've not had any problem with the staff always been polite. Keep it up guys, it's your local who appreciate it. I dont have to go anywhere else when I can just walk down the road.
Waste of time. Came here to post a parcel, nothing complicated or difficult, the kid behind the counter didn’t know how to process it and told me the person who did would be back at 2/2:30pm. Why would u have an unmanned PO counter during lunchtime hours? To add; the entrance was through some shoddy back door with enough cracks and steps in the path. Should have walked away then but wont be using them in the future.
The two guys at the post office are very rude. I have used this post office before, because it is near my home, but I have stopped now a couple of weeks and started driving to Acocks Green or Shirley Road post offices. The two guys who worked at the post office I think they are the owners, the short guy and the tall guy were very rude. Every time I went there I felt being disrespected, I was shocked because I always treat people with respect and I expect to be treated the same. On arrival there they always looked unfriendly hard faces, no manners no hello no thanks....etc, really really very impolite people, I cannot deal with this type of people, even I have to drive now faraway few times a week to other post offices. And the other thing is why is the post office located right in the middle of Alcohol section, couldn't they place it somewhere else?? It is a very tiny post office section that could be placed somewhere else in the shop. What message are they giving to our small children? I always had my children with me, it didn't feel right. Once the short guy was serving in the post and hiding an Alcohol Can behind the counter drinking from it and chatting to another person next to him, sending my post but not acknowledging me. P.S I don't have anything against people purchasing, selling or drinking alcohol, none of my business, but I have problem with a post office located right in the middle of alcohol section and the shop owner drinking alcohol when serving customers and disrespecting them.
Been shopping here for quite some yrs, staff have always been polite, always in hand to help it's like having more personal service then a big supermarket. And with the post office much needed in this area is brilliant well done all that work in the shop. Best wishes for the future. Oh and the long hours they work. Xx
If you are looking for a good post office, this is the best one. The staff is very polite, a team of people with key skills who are ready to help at any moment. And of course all the matters: Safety!!!

local community love the corner shop because it so much to offer with good quality food and helpful at all times and post office is so good for or community so no need to go in to acocks green as we have all we need at or local corner shop good value for money we or so very grateful to have such a lovely community we your corner shop is all ways happy to help thank you Neeta JAG for bringing so much to the community we can't thank you enough
