Site needs a little TLC. Washrooms are clean but old fashioned. Great shower though. Washing machine working but tumble not. Difficult to park within " pegs" on some sites and be able to hook up. Told by Warden we needed to reverse in but it seemed that not all adhered to this. Chose a hardstanding pitch but would suggest avoiding this. Just like parking in a car park!!
Personally the site was lovely and quiet and very little road noise except for the odd idiot with a loud exhaust that think they are brilliant drivers because they can press a pedal in their car. But back to the site, the wardens weren't intrusive while tidying up leaves. The only other issue but not the sites fault are the absolute filthy humans that think its acceptable to leave waste food and empty containers in the washing sink and attempting to block toilets in the facilities. How the wardens at these CAMC sites get through a day having these idiots on site is beyond me
Now this was not our usual sure at all but it was brilliant. Shower block great nearby farm shop and restaurant fabulous. I loved the little book and video swap room what a good idea also the herb Garden we could all use!
Beautiful site. Such helpful and friendly staff too. Very generous pitch sizes and excellent facilities. Lovely for our two yorkie terriers too. This will be our half way site of choice between Devon and Manchester from now on.
Lovely site, very friendly wardens, clean warm toilet/shower block. Only had one night there so other facilities/local attractions weren't used.
Very warm welcome when we arrived in the dark. Lovely site in a great location. Facilities superb. Big thank you
Very nice and quit place. Pitches are big so there is a decent distance to the neighbur. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Sanitary blocks are clean and tidy.
Nice quiet well positioned site. Two toilet blocks one of which is in need of updating. However both blocks are immaculately clean. The wardens were pleasant and helpful. All pitches are level and easy to access.
Seemed a bit run down and felt like being in a car park with lots of pot holes. Facility block although old was very well kept and always clean. A short walk to a wonderful farm shop
Been to this site twice and the place itself is excellent But both times the staff welcoming you are not welcoming or happy in fact they are miserable as sin Also all the toilet blocks are shut due to misuse! Really? There’s no bins anywhere but near the front I wonder what the misuse could be ? Or is looking after three blocks hard work ? Either way needs to be sorted And people please get happy or find something that makes you happy life is to short
