Lovely location, well maintained site. Managers were friendly and helpful. Toilets and showers were good. There are a couple of outdoor showers-possibly not my best idea in October! 2 pubs in walking distance - 1 which doesn't do food and the other one is a bit further away but does do food. Site managers recommended the Indian Takeaway locally- delicious food and lovely, friendly staff. They even brought me a slice of birthday cake! Will return in the summer months as there are normally quizzes and other events that take place.
Looked a nice place, difficult to get to coming from North. We were very late due to traffic, stayed one night and left as didn’t feel comfortable. But that was our choice to leave instead of staying for second night. Realistically should have chosen a campsite not as far of main roads. But it looked reasonable for what it is .
We stayed on this site for a week late September on a hardstanding pitch. The best bits about this campsite are: plenty of space between pitches and in the centre of the site which is mainly flat, great location for visiting Warwick and surrounding areas, easy access from A439, countryside location, good walking from the site, very friendly and helpful wardens Karen and Neil - could not do enough for us. Very helpful and knowledgeable about places to go and visit in the local area. Lots of recommendations. They are very dog friendly and have a beautiful German Shepherd themselves called Taz. Facilities are adequate but basic. They were kept very clean.
Just spent 4 nights in our Camper van at this great little site. Spotlessly clean Showers & Toilets. I loved the open air Shower option. Very friendly & helpful staff. Ideally situated for visiting Warwick & the surrounding countryside, we had a lovely cycle ride along the Canal into the City, Would definitely recommend.
Basic, not enough indoor showers and the outdoor ones weren't particularly nice. Helpful nice owners though and big space for kids to play.
Superb hosts, great facilities, amazing homemade pizza! We really enjoyed our weekend here. Great location to explore Warwick Castle, it’s only 6 miles away. Neil and Kat were fantastic hosts, even stopping by to help put up our new awning having seen the bewilderment on my face, no doubt!. There are yurts and safari tents for hire, camping pegs for tents and hardstanding for caravans / motor homes. This sticks out as being a particularly good site. Highly recommended.
This campsite is a definite must if you want to visit Warwick or Hatton Locks just down the road....the Hosts are lovely people and so friendly....facilities are great here too...we will definitely come back here again Dog-friendliness: Yes you can bring your doggies here
Wonderful stay! Very quiet and peaceful site with clean facilities- the hot outdoor showers were great. Owners are lovely people who do all they can to make you feel welcome. I'm a caravanning newbie and they were extremely kind and helpful. Highly recommended!
Pleasant camp site arranged around a large sloping field. Pitches for motor homes, caravans and tents arranged around the perimeter leaving a lovely large space for children to play in the middle. Showers and toilet block at top of field, a good treck if you are pitched at the bottom. 2 indoor showers and 2 outdoor showers, we didn't use outdoor ones as getting close to autumn. Indoor showers the lighting left a bit to be desired as on a timer and would go out half way through a shower leaving you in the dark. Apart from that we enjoyed a nice week exploring the area. Camp owner and wardens very friendly..
A really nice welcome, however the hard standings and entrance to the site along with the toilets and showers are in serious need of upgrading. Woeful water pressure in the showers. We paid £90 for 3 nights midweek camping and at that price I expect better facilities. I never review unless I use the business, in this case you will find the booking under my wife's name, who by the way has exactly the same surname as myself !!!!!
