Refused to provide emergency accommodation for a homeless young mother and her 1 year old daughter. Given her "no preference" so she cannot bid for properties, despite being British and homeless with a CHILD!! Then to hear of a women with a "disability" being offered 2 homes within 5 miles! its funny as, as soon as she wanted to smoke, she could walk fine!!! Very scary when vulnerable people are not being helped and those abusing the system are getting everything handed to them. Children should not be left on the streets. You Waltham Forest, have left a child (many others I guarantee) without a home. Sleep well at night, I'm sure you all do.

Worst housing if I could give them 0 stars I would . There's probably one or two staff that takes thier job seriously the rest are just there for the money very immature unprofessional people. The person I spoke to about repairs was really unprofessional and sounded like a youth on the phone really rude tone and that is not the first time. It's really disgusting the way waltham forest housing staff treat people. They should do a undercover investigation. When I went to the housing the reception was fully packed no place to sit only one women at reception desk . One women at the housing service desk drinking her tea taking her time and in and out staff going on their lunch are something no bothered. DISGUSTING

My rating is also a single star, I haven`t seen a Council so bad in almost everything. You do enjoy a comfortable job that you`ve got and never ever have a look at your rating.

Honestly speaking Walthamstow has the worst housing advice team, they are so rude and are very unprofessional, often they don't even apologise for the way they speak to costumers and they are blunt and have annoying replies.
