10/10 for showing the England finals match in Fellowship Square for FREE. A mega screen, food and drinks stalls and a fab atmosphere. Thanks so much!
The worst council in London. You'll be waiting months or even years for repairs to be done. They'll just send a contractor over to take pictures and leave your property.nThe workers lie saying that they will report repairs but then when you phone up Waltham Forest housing repairs team, they tell you they see nothing of the sort on their system.nThey have no regard for vulnerable people, especially children living in dire conditions.nThe customer service is appalling. They'll have you waiting a long time on the phone, only to be put through to someone who lacks communication skills and a little human empathy. One lady with a Caribbean accent is so rude and condescending, she yells at you and hangs up the phone often.nDon't try making a complaint because the management will investigate themselves and say they don't see a problem and close the case!nTerribly useless council.
This is a Local authority that broke me and my mother over the course of a decade and made my mother homeless twice. The first time they took accountability for the cause of her homelessness status - but they did not offer her housing. The 2nd time they made her homeless via the Windrush hostile environment policy. They removed her access to public funds which caused a range of issues and one of those major issues was irregular rent payments caused by delayed housing benefit payments because of the Windrush rent payment irregularities which led to my mother being evicted. There was always an issue when I would try to fight to get my mother’s housing benefit reinstated - the council were never fussed to account for the urgency that would mean a vulnerable resident in her pension age would become homeless as a result. My mother’s an elderly pensioner who is quite literally broken now. And there has been no apology or support. My mother has lost everything and she literally doesn’t even know the full extent of it yet. Please be very careful of this local authority, the stress of all of this caused my mother to have a stroke and the relevant council department refuse to acknowledge medical information from her GP unless it’s sent from a solicitor. There is no concern for the vulnerabilities that have been created here and no apology. #windrush
Reported floor in living room has raised also can hear running water.not noticed any leaks anywhere. Plumber came from morgan sindall. He looked couldn't find any leak but ashore me there was a leak somewhere. He said he would go back and report it .I would hear from them as it was urgent.also had a date for floor to be pulled up on Monday this week 3 person turned up one sat in van for hour then the other to was at the front wall on there phones walked to bottom off turning stood there 20 minutes then disappeared. Called office all day for update somebody call you back called every hour from Monday to Friday today and still I have got nowhere with council neither morgan sindall .I've decided to get repairs done by private builder and send in the bill for works carried out due to lack of communication also sue them for waisting disabled man's time .shame on walthamforest council also morgan sindall there absolute disgrace
A panoramic boast set on a expansive footprint, attributed to Philip Hepworth and Grade II Listed.nRestrained Classic symmetry in the main with a dab of Art Deco in the detail, completed during WWII.nThe distinctive copper clock tower topped with a lantern an incongruous touch that counteracts the streamlined functionality and Totalitarian overtone.nRefurbished interior retains some original fabric.
