Beautiful.  I got my engagement ring from here years ago when it was Geoff Neary.  I popped in today to treat myself.  I felt like I was stepping back in time. It was a wonderful experience.  The antique atmosphere was calming and soothing and made me forget about the snow falling and the hustle bustle outside.  The staff gave me a warm welcome after being buzzed in.  I only intended on buying one item, but once inside I was like a magpie.  I had slow my breathing down to focus on what I went in for.  10 minutes later I left with a bag of bright shiny jewellery.  I love shopping here...even the glass topped serving desk oozes class and nostalgia from bygone days.  Always a pleasure to visit...even if it's just to press my nose against the window to see all the shiny jewellery, that I can't afford

Took my wedding ring here to be repaired after I noticed a slight break at the back of the wedding band. The staff were really attentive and friendly. Really quick service and very quick at letting me know everything was done and ready! The ring has been repaired really well and it’s so shiny and looks brand new! Would definitely recommend!

I stopped in on the off chance and ended up with my ring beautifully fixed in no time at all. Both gentlemen who helped me where so lovely and considerate. Thank you.

Window shop here every time I visit town, who wouldn't?. Their windows are absolutely breathtaking displays, huge range of gift & jewelry prices. They have recently taken over the shop nextdoor used to be a florist which I think is the working jewelers department.

Wonderful service from Walkers Jewellers, Iain made me this beautiful delicate and modern ring with Fire Opal and Diamonds. Made with a more hard wearing carat of gold so I know it will withstand wearing it daily. Feels weightless on my finger, and well balanced. Reasonably priced and the work completed quickly, with excellent customer service, they kept me updated every step of the way. I am over the moon with their service and I will defiantly have more rings and jewellery commissioned with them, very friendly staff who have gone above and beyond to create this beautiful ring. Very friendly helpful staff ,a really varied selection of jewellery to suite all price ranges and it's like stepping into an old emporium of  times past when quality was put first.

Friendly, traditional, helpful, nice, old fashioned, good.... This is a traditional working jewelers. The range of items are for the refined. It's location is curious- accessibly by foot only.  Giving you a 'York shambles' experience The shop has a long history and can be felt as you enter the ' cocoon' environment. This place is for good quality products.
