Great butchers, plus a small deli counter selling cheese , butter , ham, cured meats and great pies and sausage rolls
Seems amazing to me that they charge the most and then have the cheek to remove the service tills so you have do your own scanning etc with machines that keep needing attention.
I visited today and was surprised and disappointed by the dirtiness and untidiness - not what I expect from a Waitrose and inconsistent with their stores in Haslemere and Farnham. The floors looked like they hadn’t been washed for a while, there was stock in the wrong place, some tattiness with displays and so on. All things that could be corrected quickly and so creating a feeling of lack of care.nnOtherwise the store seemed well stocked, there’s a large car park and the staff seemed friendly enough. Stock and pricing as you’d expect from Waitrose.
Went there this afternoon, the guy named Pete hopefully that’s the right spelling was brilliant.. helped me with finding the item I needed.. shelf was empty.. so he went at the back to look for the item for me . Very helpful with a smiley face .. had a great experience today. Great service. Thank you again Pete .
Ok, despite being one of the smaller Waitrose branches, I loved this little grocery store.nWaitrose has a good selection of fast meals, fresh veg and fruit, as well as dairy. And the usual grocery items and baked items. Can't go wrong with Waitrose, ever!
