It’s my local town Tesco. People complain about its size but the population doesn’t currently warrant a superstore as much as we would all love onennThe usual in store bakery with a decent fruit and veg section. There is a GF section. It has one of the few cashpoints in town and to be fair, they replaced it after a ram raid a few years agonnThere’s a hand wash service in the car park. Additional key cutting and gift printing services are available via kiosks inside. There’s also a drop for the local food banknnIt does what it says on the tin
One star for the staff. They are the only good thing about this shop. Food out of date too often. Veg goes off in one Day. And not everyone wants frozen convenience food. If you want good quality meat veg, you have to go to Alton to Sainsbury's.
I wanted to say a very big thank you to the member of staff who kindly looked after my Husband this morningnHe had cut himself on a trolley and a member of staff from the Bakery Dept who was first aid trained took wonderful care of him. He cleaned the cut up dressed it and got him a cup of water.nHe asked all of the right things and made sure that he was alright to carry on. He checked the trolley to see where he probably cut himself.nUnfortunately we didn’t get his name but we both want to say a very big thank you for his professionalism and kindness.
I had a distressing experience at Tesco in Bordon involving a staff member. An African male staff member with long hair, a beard, and a mustache shouted at me very aggressively. This happened near a wet floor sign, where I was trying to pick up a chicken.nnI was with my children at the time, and the way he approached me—shouting and getting very close as if he was about to hit me—was extremely intimidating and inappropriate.nnTesco staff should treat customers with respect and maintain proper manners, especially in front of children. This kind of behavior is unacceptable, and I hope it will be investigated and addressed properly.
Disappointed today l had to queue with my elderly mum with parkinsons at a reduced staffed checkout installation. Tesco seems to be heading for auto checkout and limited staff. Not what l would expect for customer service.
