I worked in this store for 5 weeks over Christmas and New Year helping them out, I’m a self employed merchandiser and work in all the big stores doing a variety of jobs from shop fitting to shelf stacking and this store is by far the cleanest I’ve worked in, they have a brilliant branch manager “ Michelle “ and second in command “ Andrew “ who both lead by example, they don’t mind getting their hands dirty. Unfortunately there are a couple of managers who seem to take pleasure in upsetting their staff demeaning the good work they do causing low moral amongst the staff and do nothing themselves but walk around like they’re better than everyone else picking faults when its actually they who are at fault. You know who you are. I have a soft spot for this store and the brilliant staff who work really hard. Keep up the good work.

I did not receive a broadsheet-esque service from this branch yesterday; John Lewis Partnership need to look at this branch promptly.

I like Waitrose but recently you do need to be careful of what you pick up. Too many times I've seen items on shelves past their Sell By dates and unfortunately on occasions haven't spotted it and bought things that aren't fit to eat. And that includes items this summer from the 'fresh' food counter! And they seem to run out of key items more regularly so can't always be sure they will have what you need. Hope it picks up. (Could do with more tills open too!)

A fairly small branch. Still sells a great range of quality produce. Does feel a bit cramped especially if busy. Close to station if you need to shop by train.

Waitrose Longfield used to be run extremely well but over the last 3 years this shop has steadily & seriously gone downhill. The shelves are constantly empty and not restocked quickly enough. There are even basic items not available, including household items. The fresh vegetables are poor quality and quite often don't last very long. I won't buy joints of meat (except chicken) as it's expensive and not good quality. The check out areas aren't managed properly and the coffee station needs to be relocated as it is in the way of people trying to leave after paying. The icing on the cake was the high handed way Waitrose dealt with the parking situation - 2 hours is still not long enough.
