A small Tesco Express store, and the collection point for many local delivery companies. As such the counter staff are always busy, and often called away from the counter. Parking at the front on the hill is a nightmare, but there is a decent sized car park at the rear off St Alban's Road.

Staff are usually rude and unhelpful and the security guard is OTT, it's just a Tesco does what it says it does. There's hardly ever any sandwiches,salads etc and if there are any they are usually at the end of their date or reduced because they are out of date. Oh, and be careful of the croissants they always mix up the almond and chocolate which I've told them before is very dangerous.
