Been to this restaurant a few times over the years impeccable service always A real step back in Time in terms of service and manners something rare to find these days fantastic food and some great sweets to choose from from the past and present and a great shame talking to the owner that he is finishing this year Will be a hard act to follow for somebody else A little away from us as we live in Cheltenham but well worth the drive can’t wait to return
The Wagon Wheel is a nice quaint little pub restraunt. The furnishing looks very dated but the staff are friendly. They have a good selection of drinks and prices are not excessive. The food is reasonable but not outstanding and somewhat expensive. I've been here a few times and apart from Christmas it has always been quiet.
Our most favourite place to eat, it never disappoints, the staff are great and have such Character and they will do anything to assist. Cant recomment them enough, enjoy people. Excellent food, excellent selection of wines
Amazing! Been here a few times and always have a warm welcome and food is always perfection not matter if eating in the bar or resturant. Food portions are very generous and never had a bad meal. Highly recommend!
Absolutely beautiful steak as always. Staff are fantastic.
Best Sunday lunch I've had for a long long while . The rib of beef was superb Lovely to find a pub/restaurant that has not been modernised. Table cloths and quality linen white napkins are rare to find these days. It is full of character and warmth. The staff are so welcoming and very attentive. Well worth a visit. You will not be disappointed.
Friendly pub, helpful staff and the buffet was very good. Will visit again.
Great lunch at the Waggon Wheel following a walk around the local area. Had the steak and ale pie which was delicious, full of flavour, with a rich gravy and stuffed full of meat. My wife had the chicken supreme with a cherry sauce which she loved. Would definitely recommend for great food and a warm welcome.
Exelent Food is Top quality Great win selection You pay for what you get, and it's just quality in every way.
I just can't rate this place highly enough. Yes it is rather retro but what a wonderful change to have proper, pristine napery, cut glass and silver service. I like my food on a plate, not in a box, or on a plank of wood. The food is generous, well cooked and delicious. The owner and his staff are friendly, welcoming and very attentive. What more could you want?
