Very nice food. Service was very good and the staff were incredibly friendly. Went here with some friends from work and had a good evening. Good variety of food on menu to satiate anyone appetite. Third time coming here now and I shall be visiting again.
We popped in when passing as from the outside it looked lovely. We was stood at the door about 5 minutes before a staff member come over to seat the couple Infront of us then us. Once sat service was a bit slow but the servers were polite and attentive when around. Took around half an hour to get our orders in. When ordering we opted for 2 of the specials, unfortunately they were no longer available. It would have been more efficient if they've told us they were out of some meals when seating us. Or just advised they may not of been available if they were running low. Food didn't take too long to come out, about half an hour. Food was lovely but I was actually missing the pineapple off my meal which I didn't realise till halfway through, nevermind that's a little detail. Overall would go again, but hopefully service will be a bit better next time.
So Staff were nice. This is why I didn’t like to complain because they were doing their best. I also feel guilty leaving a bad review because of the staff being good. Soup was nice. Portion size ok. Camembert was nice. Desert was nice too. Ordered soup - bread didn’t come with any butter No cutlery brought to us until we asked No salt and pepper Chips were in the smallest pot and they were so greasy at the bottom it made us both feel a bit sick. Literally last few were sat in a pool of oil. The photo doesn’t do justice as to how small and empty the chip pot was. They were skinny fries and the pot was not even full to the top - I think this is tight because they couldn’t have saved 5 pence on the potatoes they didn’t give us.
Had a lovely time here on Tuesday evening for my Dad's birthday. Nathan and Matt did an amazing job serving us, especially with only two waiting staff on. They were friendly, kind and considerate and did all they could to inform us of the menu, and make it the nicest time possible. It was my first time at the Fox and I really liked the layout and traditional pub feel. The food was also very tasty. Overall we had a great time.
First time going after recommendations and driving past loads, can't fault the place staff are great and friendly, food is fantastic atmosphere is great. Will be back again soon
Heard so much about this fabulous place. Not just for food but? fine wines & ambience too. So! Grand-daughter & i travelled from Droitwich to give it a try. We both agreed Sunday Lunch was absolutely perfect. Customer service is also worth a nice tip . I was more than happy to do just that. Couldn't fault it. I had Pork Fillet, she had the Rib of Beef she said it was awesome We will return again & soon. Thank you.
Was great food, little disappointed no crackling as the menu said there was. Also my Yorkshire was more of a flat pancake
We returned with friends after such a good first visit. Served again by Nathan who was brilliant! Food was gorgeous, I had the midweek offer of 2 courses for £15.99 Everything was cooked perfectly, I'd definitely recommend the seabass and scallop risotto! Kids both had 2 courses for £5.99 and also enjoyed! Happy experience, I can imagine Christmas would be great here.
Fabulous meal and service was quick and friendly. We would recommend this venue.
If I could leave no stars for this place it would be too many! My first visit to this pub resulted in me finding what resembled a slug pellet in my salad! After reporting it to the manager I was told it was actually a small piece of the date label sticker! I still argue the case as it looked very much like a slug pellet. No gesture of goodwill offered just a rather large bill. Against my better judgement I decided to give the place another go! 7.15pm on Sunday evening we decide to visit for a dinner 3 people. Walking into a rather quiet restaurant 5 - 6 tables occupied we were greeted by the same gentleman who told me about the food label in my last meal. We were asked if we had a reservation to which we replied no. We were then told they had no availability which was a surprise to me as they had many empty tables! After asking him if he was joking he said he would ask the manager! With that a very rude man burst out of the kitchen doors to simply tell the staff member to turn us away as they have no food!! I was simply stunned and could not believe what I was hearing. The manager was saying this whilst carrying 2 meals to a table! We have tried our best to support this local establishment however it would appear they do not want our business so we will now take it elsewhere. An absolute Circus of a pub
