My wife and I stayed at the cottage for 10 days when we got married at Wadhurst Castle in April and we had a fantastic time. Fiona was so friendly and helpful during our stay and the cottage itself felt like it became our second home. There are wonderful views across the beautiful castle walled garden extending beyond to the Sussex countryside and the cottage garden out the front is very pretty and well kept. The cottage itself is very well equipped and we loved having different sets of friends over during our stay for country walks and socialising in the large living space the cottage offers. The log fire was a nice bonus as well and there were so many ideas of things to do/walks to go on in the multitude of leaflets and brochures provided. We were so sad to leave at the end of our stay but we'd love to come back at some point in the future :)

Absolutely gorgeous place would definitely stay here again brilliant for dogs lovely grounds shops and pubs with in easy distance very nice to find tea milk and breakfast food

A beautifully characterful cottage in the grounds of the castle which was perfect for the grooms immediate family. Spacious, well equipped and comfortable.

We have stayed at Wadhurst Castle Cottage on two occasions now with our three children. It is comfortable and welcoming. We really appreciated the eggs and fresh bread left for us both times along with the usual tea and milk. There is a beautiful open fire with a supply of chopped wood in the porch. We had extended family over for Sunday lunch and the large dining table was great! The view across the walled garden from the bedrooms is very pretty, as is the whole area of East Sussex and Kent. On our last visit we brought our Cocker Spaniel with us; everything we needed for our dog to have a happy stay was provided for her. We will certainly come back next year!

We stayed here as a shooting party for 2 nights in December 2016. The cottage itself is set in the spectacular castle grounds and was nice and quiet. Our stay was very comfortable and there was plenty of space for all 8 of us for a sit down meal on Saturday night. We also loved the open log fire. Fiona was incredibly helpful in organising our stay and catering to our requirements. Thoroughly recommended!
