BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!! DO NOT TRUST THIS GUY. This old senile guy is not to be trusted. Took my Longines watch in for repair on the 25 August 2009 he said he would order parts and repair my watch,.six months passed and I called into his shop he stated that he had ordered parts from America and it could take up to a year to get them I wasn't in a hurry so I said I would wait What follows read on Called to his shopped and was boarded up with shutter a sign stated that he had broken his wrist Six months later called again to find the shop closed knocked on his door he lives in the flat upstairs no reply..months followed called again to his shop a notice stated he had bird flu Contacted Gateshead Trading Standards who stated that they had a file on him of customers not getting their watches back and they would take up the case for me Roll on to March 2013 Trading standards have been in touch and he told them he was going into hospital for a cataract operation six months later shop still closed. I put a letter in his postbox stating I would take him to court..no reply 2014..managed to speak to Mr Hildyard whos telephone was permantly engaged he informed me that his shop has dry rot and the floors need replacing and when asked about my watch he stated he would return it I told him forget about the repair and just return my watch as it is..he said it would take time to find it 2015 HURRAH.His shop was open for business and called in..presented my jobsheet no101 dated the 25/08/2009 as he said I told you Im still looking for your watch it is in the workshop somewhere Today 5/08/2015 contacted Gateshead Trading Standards who stated they have closed the file on him .When asked about taking him to court they stated that I would be wasting my time as the court would find in his favour as he is old
