Having gone to numerous dealerships and receiving mostly poor service, we were close to giving up on finding a new car. Then we visited Jeep and Chris was excellent! He had the perfect balance of giving us the useful info and not being too pushy. He talked us through everything and helped us feel at confident that it was the right purchase for us. He was happy to answer any questions and gave us time to make sure we were happy whilst the car was reserved. Once we decided to go ahead with the purchase, he got the car ready for us in only 2 days. Would highly recommend Chris if you’re looking for a new car.
But disappointed that after seeing a Jeep I liked in the dealership with a qr code in the window and enquiring I was told it wasn't for sale and I'd have to bid on it in an auction in Bristol. They had no others available either. Strange dealership and not one I'd hurry back to.
We have a Jeep compass under 3 years old so in warranty. The windscreen washers stopped. We rang Vospers in Exeter and they said they could look at it in the third week of February. They had no available technicians. Not much good in winter with a dirty windscreen and illegal to drive. They said ring the Jeep help number. We did and the RAC came out. The RAC guy said the washers had collapsed and referred us back to Vospers! We spoke to them again and they said they could not source new ones. Unity Jeep in Oxford rang Vospers but it did not help. So, Unity sourced new jets and so en route to Norfolk via Oxford fitted them to the Jeep Compass . Problem solved. Vospers in Exeter are useless and we would never recommend them - no aftercare dealer service! Just want to flog cars!
My mind was set on the purchase of a Jeep Renegade Night Eagle, after looking at five vehicles without luck and plenty of false promises and a vehicle from another dealership I had to return I finally fell upon my car at Vospers Exeter, still struggling with placing my trust in car salesmen I met Chris Hughes, who listened, understood my loss of faith and fortunately had just the very car I really wanted. How refreshing, the car was perfect at last, I am a very discerning customer and he probably saw me as a challenge I’m sure, but he took all the stress out of my purchase, kept me calm and assured me that when I collected my car he was confident it would meet all my expectations and he was absolutely right, the car was gleaming after a car valet and Diamond Brite treatment, all servicing M.O.T was done on time, I explained I would eventually be using a retained private license plate and immediately he had new plates made for me a very nice gesture, helped me with the online taxation and I left feeling if there was anything else I needed he would be happy to help, he really couldn’t do enough to help and at last my purchase of my much wanted Jeep was a wonderful, exciting experience and I’m now thoroughly enjoying my much loved car.
