We love this place have been more than once, but I'm our last visit the food was well below what we'd have normally had there.. Still a great little getaway for not a lot of money! So for that the five stars are deserved

Excellent day had by all. Fabulous support and guidance prior to the wedding and well executed on the day itself. The staff are friendly professional helpful and a great asset to the hotel and our special day. Cheers Tommy and your crew. Gerry & Nic 28/10/2016

First class food and service. We had our wedding here and between the service and the friendly staff id recommend it for all of these things. Plus it's locally owned and run by the best and most genuine people around. An easy five stars 😉

We had dinner Valentine's night in Fara's restaurant. We were a little apprehensive as it was very busy but we were seated at a table that gave us enough privacy but with the experience of a warm, busy atmosphere. The menu was amazing with a mouthwatering amuse-bouche and sorbet from the chef between courses. The waitress was spot on with her wine advice to go with the lamb ( which was cooked beautifully) and the dessert's were varied but irresistible. After paying, we were offered a glass of Prosecco on departure to bring to relax in the lounge. All in all a thoroughly enjoyable evening with great food, great wine and excellent service!

Staff are great, location is good. To give fair criticism, the nachos in the Wee Bar are terrible. It was matchday & the TV in the wee Bar is wee in the extreme and damaged. Not overly important but the sound is out of sync on all the TV channels in the rooms. Bathroom door in our room doesn't close. I've stayed before, and would again - provided the price is reflective...
