Went with family on a Friday night for a meal.  Glad we booked as it was extremely busy.  However food order was taken quickly enough and didn't have too long a wait considering the place was packed out. Food was good and staff friendly. Will go again on  Friday evening to try the tapas which looked delicious.  Had a lovely night out.

Needs a good clean. Rooms dirty, asked for an ironing board and iron (none in room) got a board so ragged and so stained I wouldn't have fed the dog off of it. Bar was okay, decor is a bit tired at this point. Main meal the night before was grand but the breakfast was awful. Literally swimming in oil. Every item on the fry seemed like it had been plunged in cold oil.

Had dinner in main bar with a party of 14. It was very busy when we arrived at 18:40. Our table was reserved in a nice area. Our meal orders were taken and rather quickly considering how busy the bar was. I think the receptionist was even helping out. Nice food and reasonable choice.

Never had a bad meal or a bad service here. Great facility in our town. Unique relaxed atmosphere in the bar area.

Really friendly staff, good entertainment, nice food. Rooms clean, if a little small. and showers a bit weak. Overall really nice stay. Free WiFi good and a handy stop over.
