We stayed in Finn Cottage and we had such a lovely time. The cottage was absolutely spotless with everything you could need for a weeks stay. The kitchen is completely kitted out with utensils, washing up products and even some basic food items like tea, coffee, salt, pepper etc. The cottage is also dog friendly and was perfect for our bouncy Springer spaniel, Anne even provided a towel for him and there is a ground floor shower room to clean any muddy paws. The cottage itself is so comfortable, we would have happily stayed longer. Anne is a knowledgable and friendly host, nothing was too much trouble. We can’t wait to return!
We have stayed in all the cottages over the last few years and none will disappoint. Anne the owner and host could not do more for you. You would only ever need to ask for anything. The views of countryside are spectacular from your window and the cottages are located in a quiet very rural area. Yet get in your car and the local shop is only 5 minutes away? Dont have a car? Anne will sort it out for you. Every cottage is slightly different in size. So regardless of the size of your party, one of the 4 cottages will work for you. Good wifi signal if you need it.
Me and my partner stayed at the Finn Valley cottages back in October for 2 weeks and it was a lovely experience, it was isolated enough for our needs but accessable for services to reach us. The cottage we stayed in was clean and dry, it had a small fire stove which was a perfect fit for the buildings size. The internet was fast and was equipped with everything you needed for you to have a comfortable stay there. Anne was a lovely host who made sure everything was working in proper order. It was a great experience to have and I look back on it fondly, Thank You!
We stayed in one of the Finn Valley cottages and had an absolutey fantatsic time! The cottage was gorgeous, spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you could possibly need for a stay with a family or group. The little patio area was perfect in the evening as the view is beautiful and the location is so peaceful! Anne the owner was so helpful and was able to give us suggestions for places to visit in the area and the cottages are very well located for Strabane and Donegal. Anne was very welcoming and even had toys for the kids to play with! A fabulous break and wouldn't hestiate to recommend Finn Valley Cottages, we will definately be back :
I just spent a week here with my family; we had such a lovely relaxing time. We stayed in Strule cottage which was absolutely beautiful. The two big windows give a tremendous view over the Valley. Ann the owner was a great host, she was there to greet us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. She gave us a tour of the property and a good guide to the amenities in the area. Finn Valley Cottages are truly beautiful, and well located for exploring the Sperrin’s and Donegal. We visited Gortin Glen, Letterkenny, GlenValley adventure park and Donegal Bordwalk highly recommend . Inside the cottage is finished to a very high standard; it’s very spacious, clean and comfortable, the kitchen is well appointed, and has everything you could possibly need. It really was like home from home. The games room was great to have access to and there was lots of room to run about outside with our 5 year old daughter. We would highly recommend Finn Valley Cottages and hope to return sometime in the near future.
After travelling all through the night, we were told we could check in early. We were shown around the two properties. Our initial thought were that the 2 properties we had paid for were dirty. They had definatately had not had a deep clean for a very long time. Greasy cupboard fronts, dirty light switches, remnants of food stuck on the cupboards, dead flies all over the floor, soap scum on shower screens, rusty radiators in the bathrooms which was obviously caused by splashes of urine. The list is endless. During these uncertain times with the threat of covid 19 on all our minds, surely the guidance states that all surfaces should be clean and disinfected. We witnessed the owners friend cleaning the cupboard handles with window cleaner! Even after the properties had been cleaned again as requested, it still wasn't in our opinion a four star establishment in terms of cleanliness.
Wonderful place to stay in, lovely host. Very nice house, modern furniture with all you can wish, smart tv, good wifi, very clean rooms and bathrooms, everything was mind blowing. Totally reccomend. My company choose the house, as I had to stay in more than a month during a job nearby and enjoyed every moment. I thank them for that and I thank the host for my pleasant time in her house.

Stayed recently for a group holiday. The two lovely cottages were well equipped and clean, Anne is an excellent host and the views are gorgeous.
Anne is the best. The cottage was well appointed with a great kitchen. Spectacular views and great advice on places to go. You can't go wrong.
