I have never entered Viking hotel I only see the building on the road in front of Artherton leisure centre place but somebody told me that the place is neat with good quality workers and staffs.

As Pete says you pay for what you get we paid £90 which is reasonable , to me a lot. Firstly I have never ever stayed in a hotel with stains in the toilet even in the poorest countries. We had only 2 small towels and no bath mat. Another guest said she slipped coming out the shower. The rest of the room was clean and comfortable. We had tea and coffee for 6 cups..but only 3 milks.. On arrival despite the hotel advertising 9.30 end to breakfast was 9.00..for a Sunday morning. We went at 8.40..it was obvious that even then we were too late..but they had begrudgingly accommodate us ...Cold bake beans. .toaster switched off..but put back on for us...no orange juice and no hot water ..kettle filled and put on..as the girls hastiedly cleared up for the 9.00 deadline! One standing outside the door talking to friends smoking with the tray of bread so you couldn't grab a smokey slice. Yes staff smoke on the steps where the dining room is. On going to hand my key in I nearly slipped on the tiled floor as it was being cleaned with no warning signs, I thought she was sweeping not mopping. Would I stay again no too basic...it has taught me to pay more so we can enjoy a relaxing break.
