Alhamdulilah I made a visit for jummah and the masjid was very accommodating. It was spacious and the practices were in accordance with the quran and sunnah. I honestly don't know what kind of muslim would decide to leave a bad review of a masjid behind Allahu musa'an. If we see a problem we can raise it to those in charge and help them make change with our support and donations. May Allah keep these brothers and those who attend this masjid firm upon the sunnah and protect them from falling into the two extremes of watering down the religion or becoming extremely harsh.
Very weird maze to go through. The main hall seems nice but was very messy - had bits of candy and wrappers scattered at the front. The wudu area is very awkward to get to and not very good, couldn't hang my coat anywhere and it's the kind where everything gets wet. I didn't see the rest of the rooms, the whole thing feels like a maze. I can't comment on the madrasah or teachers except the one I passed by for children where the teacher sounded very harsh and strict. Edit: Found out that the Masjid is still in its infancy stage, recently started offering 5 prayers in congregation. The community of brothers here is actually amazing, get to know the brothers who are sacrificing hard to help run this mosque daily, may Allah reward them. It's become my go-to for Ramadan, I had the best Iftar I've ever witnessed anywhere yesterday, don't think anyone comes close. It's filled with a community of young kids as well, they run classes teaching them the deen purposefully and it shows. One of the kids always taking food for his mom, very respectful of elders and speaking with good, such a beautiful sight. They are taking the sister's side downstairs seriously, currently raising money to renovate it. There is a nice lil islamic shop downstairs where I got an amazing Makkan thoube, highly recommend. They run school education services as well here downstairs. Upstairs is the main prayer hall with classrooms for the regular weekly madrasah 10 am - 4 pm on weekends. Quickly falling in love with this masjid. Can't wait to see the amazing barakah that comes out of this masjid in the following years, please support strong community initiatives like this.
