Booked for lunch on Christmas eve and was surprised how quiet it was. Staff very friendly providing great service. However I assume since takeover there is a new chef. Steak pie was very disappointing. We asked if they still did pensioners portions, which they do, but only £1 cheaper than standard but calls it 1/2 portion. Used to go here regularly, won't be back.
We were there for high t on Thursday and food was good. Spent over 230 pounds. Was there today and omg the food was shocking. Was told half stuff on menu wasn't available. No boiled or roast potatoes, chips were French fries. Veg looked like it was yesterday's and all food was warm and no more. They said they would take money of, still cost 210. So 20 of bill for the most disgusting meals. On way out one of our party over heard manager say I don't want them back anyway. Have had to give them a 1 star. That should be a - 1 star. Been going here for years but a can asure you i will not be back.
Sun 30th March.Me and my family went to the Victoria hotel today. and we were disappointed. the food was uncooked.and they said alot of the food way unable. and when we were leaving one of the staff said I don't want them back. Am so disappointed. we always go to the Victoria hotel and we well not be back now.
Went for high tea this evening. We where a large party.nService was good but the food was awful and the manager is very rude. We complained and and he didn't do anything.nMember of the party went to get a drink for her aunt and she was served alcohol and she's only 15.nThe whole night was just awful
Had a pleasant stay here. Comfortable and warm rooms, friendly staff, and located 5-10 mn from the Kirkcaldy railway station. Breakfast was included and it was delicious and filling too.
