Stay here regular and always a enjoy it . The staff are very good and can not do enough for you. the rooms are very clean and have everything you need . The food is really good and has all the things I love even mince N tatties. The breakfast is very filling and has everything you could need . I would highly recommend staying here ,we do around 4 times a year
Our association had its annual dinner here. The function room is large and has a dedicated bar, and if you want to have a disco, then there is plenty of room. The meals that were served were excellent, the servers were polite, prompt, and well presented. There are rooms available for an extended stay. There is parking available behind the hotel and time limited on street parking at the front.
Drove past hotel twice before realising it was there. Not very clearly signed for first time visitors. Had a lovely meal there and staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Full marks, would certainly return now I know where to turn off .
My particular room was small and the window was like a bathroom window so very prison like. The door on the corridor was super loud felt like people were walking into my room constantly. Other guests were slamming doors. My colleagues room was much bigger and brighter. Super friendly staff at the desk and breakfast times. Will of course stay again!
Warm & cosy traditional hotel with interesting history for those with links to Kirkcaldy. I stayed in room 7 which was a good size, really comfortable and warm with a compact en-suite shower room.nAll rooms are upstairs but staff were really helpful with luggage.nBreakfasts were generous and delicious as was the restaurant menu in the evenings.nMy only suggestions would be for a hand held shower attachment and liquid soap for handwashing but they are minor and wouldn’t prevent me staying again.nOverall a lovely place to stay, friendly and helpful staff and a safe environment for a solo female guest.
