A B&B to restore your faith in British hospitality. A very warm welcome, a large comfy room, excellent location, and, the best breakfast I've had in many long years of travelling. Highly recommended.

A very pleasant overnight stay in Kirkaldy. Lothrie house is clean, neat and tidy. Fantastic Scottish breakfast. Stuffed me full til 2pm. Attentive service. We will be back when we come up again.

great but toast was a cheap bread or would of been 5 star. over then that can't fault it.

What a wonderful stay we had at Lothrie. Sandra was a wonderful host and the whole place was absolutely pristine. So clean. The bathroom was so clean my sister even asked her what she used to clean as it was so spic and span. The bed was comfortable and the breakfast was amazing. Full Scottish did however defeat me - it was enormous, but so tasty. There was also fresh fruit, yogurt and cereals. Sandra also offered us pancakes with maple syrup. I couldn't recommend highly enough.. you can also walk down the road to one of 2 wonderful italian restaurants for dinner - we chose the Gondola. It was superb. Lovely stay - thanks Sandra for being so kind also.

Very clean and tidy, loved staying there. I left early in the morning and had toast-to-go, nothing was a problem, Sandra goes that extra mile to help with any issues, Will deffo be back in the future.
