"Vaughan’s Eagle House is situated on the bustling corner Terenure cross-roads. The Eagle House has been serving thirsty customers since the 1800’s. It has been trading as ‘Vaughan’s’ since 1916.Our friendly and cosy atmosphere is steeped in history. James Joyce’s mother May Murray was born on these premises in 1859. Original deeds to the pub hang on the wall alongside old photographs or Terenure and Dublin."

After a day of hiking on Cliffs of Moher, we had a great dinner with sea food, fresh from the ocean. We had fish and chips, some starter with crabs and a soup with sea food. Staff was very nice, defenetly recomended!

A pleasant bar. The barman was very helpful to me. I'm somewhat disabled and I appreciate his assistance when I'd a pint there.
Nice and quiet pub for some drinks
Empty as a dodo with Covid on new years day, but filled up a little more around 4pm. Been in here for drinks few times and perfect little pub for pre drinks before dinner or heading into town. Staff are friendly. Grand little pub!
Just had a lovely evening here with my husband. Despite all the covid rules we felt very welcome and well looked after. Atmosphere was great and hats off to James for terrific service.
