Story

THE DUCK HOUSE is an outrageous new laugh out loud comedy set in a world of dodgy receipts, dodgier deceit, and pure Parliamentary panic.

May 2009. Gordon Brown's Government is in meltdown and a General Election is just one year away. Labour backbencher Robert Houston loves being an MP and will do anything to save his seat - including change sides. All is going well with his switch from red to blue until, on the eve of his final interview with Sir Norman Cavendish, a Tory grandee, the Expenses Scandal breaks.

As public fury mounts over taxpayers' millions being frittered away on second homes, hanging baskets, moat-cleaning and duck houses, Robert and his secretarial staff (aka wife Felicity, student son Seb and Russian housekeeper Ludmilla) find themselves in big, big trouble. And how did the EU bring together Seb's gorgeous girlfriend Holly and Sir Norman?

Ben Miller (BBC1's Death in Paradise and The Armstrong and Miller Show) as the MP who's got it all - and has claimed for most of it - leads an all-star West End cast of Nancy Carroll, Debbie Chazen, James Musgrave, Simon Shepherd and Diana Vickers. Tony & Olivier award winning Terry Johnson (Hysteria, End of the Rainbow) directs this hilarious satire from two writers who've been making fun of politicians for decades: Dan Patterson (BBC2's Mock the Week) and Colin Swash (BBC1's Have I Got News For You and Private Eye).

Great theatre, currently showing Mischief Movie Night. Temperature is taken on arrival, social distancing measures are well implemented. The show itself is absolutely brilliant! Hilariously improvised by the talented Mischief Theatre Company, creators of The Play that goes Wrong! A must see.
Very good experience, excellent front of house staff and great show as well
Went to see Magic Goes Wrong by Mischief Theatre. Had an amazing time watching these very talented actors making a chatic magic show that had everyone crying with laughter. Staff were all friendly and polite. A great theatre experience!
Went to this great little theatre to see the Emilia. Absolutely brilliant evening. Superb cast of actress who performed the play to perfection. Stage set was excellent too. A must see, will be recommending it to everyone.
Very central in heart of theatre land of London. Some lovely places to eat, not to mention some astonishing watering holes in the vicinity. But don't forget - the theatre is as good as the play you watch there......we watched "Groan Ups" a delicious and hilarious which enlightened the Vaudeville.
Love this theatre! Very intimate and seats are comfy with plenty leg room. Magic goes wrong was excellent and would happily sit through it again.
Sat at the top and the view was very good, would recommend further back if you are at the top as the lower down you are the more restricted the view due to the bars. Moderately comfortable chairs. They were very long chairs so there was very little leg room.
