What a great theatre. I had the pleasure of seeing Waitress at the Adelphi and it was amazing. The theatre has an old time feel while being modern. It’s location is amazing, being right near the tube! I would definitely go back to a show here!
Large theatre that specialises in musicals and comedies. Partly owned by Andrew Lloyd Webber, this is is a fairly modern theatre but is the fourth on this site, built in 1830.
We came to see The Waitress and it was a brilliant show! So funny and simple to follow! Not brilliant seats but we were made aware at booking there would be a bar obstructing our view. Old fashioned theatre, good experience.
The Theatre is typical of so many in London with limited leg room and a squeeze for people over six foot. I went to see "The Waitress" here with no knowledge or expectations about this show. But it was great, music was good and you couldn't fail but laugh. One of the funniest musicals I've seen. Well worth going to see
This is a very cosy theatre, comfortable seats and a great view from the stalls. We went to see Waitress and enjoyed it very much. The Adelphi has good access and egress, quite a small foyer and a decent bar downstairs. There are enough clean toilets here and the staff were efficient. One of the better theatres in London
Great Theatre, we saw a matinee performance with the kids... they all remarked how comfy the seats were and how clean it was. Its not a big theatre, nice atmosphere though. Thoroughly enjoyed.
Great little theatre on the strand. Went to see waitress - the first half is a bit slow but the second half definitely makes up for that - a great show very heartwarming and funny. Sara bareilles is great.
