It's the Asian version of a greasy spoon. The food is delicious and so different to the usual Indian restaurants. If you want posh service then you won't be happy but if you want fresh tasty Dosai then this is the place to be. Great quality food in a clean environment.
Vasantha Vilas restaurant is located near to the East Ham Tube station. A pure vegetarian restaurant well known for its quality and authenticity. Tried the mini tiffin breakfast set here and all the items in it were delicious and fresh. Coffee was also good. Service was quick! Appreciate all the lady staffs here who manages the cash counter, customer orders and even the online orders very well. Recommended
Amazing food and service. One of the best in East Ham. Food portions are good, delivery time is quick. Menu is elaborate. A better choice over Sarvana Bhavan to avoid the crowd and better spice levels. It's worth a shot! Vegetarian options: All vegetarian restaurant!
This is the best south Indian restaurant I have visited in last 1.5 years. They have amazing huge vegetarian menu and also delicious sweets. Their south indian thali and paper masala dosa is a must try.

We regularly visit here and can say hands down one of the best vegetarian South Indian restuarants in UK. Their Podi idly, Filter coffee and Mysore masala dosa are a personal favourite. Authentic flavours and freshness and consistency are the highlights.Recommended dishesIdli Sambar, Sambar Vada
Stands amongst the best Tamil Nadu flavour restaurants in East Ham. Must try their breakfast menu. Very tasty and good food. Very polite and friendly staff.
FAMILY DOSA..... WOW, so huge dosa 3 of us had it, we also ordered mushroom chettinad with parotta. all the dishes were tasting amazing. full marks for the food, great taste compared to other restaurants in east ham. Kid-friendliness: They have different variety foods for kids, they provide high chair and are sweet with kids.
Love this place every time, for years. Again we visited our favourite local restaurant, on New Year's Day 2023 and they were very busy, all tables were full and a small queue. After waiting me and my family were given a table within 10 mins, and still the staff done an incredible job, didn't crack under pressure, all our dishes came excellent Vegetarian options: Plenty of Veg options, really good too
The place serves exquisite authentic South Indian cuisine with a wide variety of options to choose from. The place is near the Tube station East Ham and has easy access to bus stop. The place can be reached from near by temple by walk. I would recommend their range of dosas and Combos which are worth the money. Vegetarian options: South Indian Cuisine
