Lovely place by the beach, with gorgeous views, especially on a sunny day such as today. Restaurant is split across two floors with indoor and outdoor seating, perfect everyone.nnWe ordered two pizzas which were delicious, tad expensive for Bournemouth however fully understandable for a place like that. Good selection of food and drinks, especially wine.nn“Seems to attract” people who claim to “not like the food” yet finish the entire plate and demand the service fee to be waived. People seeking a less “wordy” crowd should seek different establishments - in our personal opinion, the ambiance was just about right! nnSpecial thanks to Lou, our waitress, for accommodating our outdoor seating despite the kitchen closing shortly, she was so so so sweet, informative and we hope to see her again when we visit Urban Reef soon.nnThank you!
A double-decker bus seriously.nVery nice place, right on Southbourne seafront, literally 4 metres from the sand. Seems to attract a 'wordy' crowd. Brisk service, occasional queues, inside and outside seating, top-deck seating.nOne very big PLUS: it opens at 8.30am, even in Winter.nPerfect.
Two years on and still my favourite place to dine, there’s so many reasons I’m always here weekly. Firstly the staff are amazing, friendly, professional & always been greeted with a smile and the food consistently tastes really good. I’ve tried a lot and they’re always adding new stuff to the menu too the chef & his teams are the best locally. A special thanks to Abby & Kaitlin for taking the time to understand my new allergies today due to medication and double checking ingredients for me. Also a big thank you Pedro & Roberto for having me as a local customer.

Right by the Boscombe seafront, this spot is for a quality food with a view. We stopped in on a chilly afternoon, so unfortunately couldn’t make the most of their sea-facing terrace, but even from indoors, the coastal charm was very much alive. The interior struck a lovely balance—modern, airy and full of vibrant tones, it felt relaxed and light-hearted, perfectly echoing the beachside vibe outside.nnWe tried the cheese toastie and the beef burger, and both dishes surpassed expectations. The toastie was a real comfort dish—oozing with mature, sharp cheddar, and grilled to a perfect golden crisp. The balance of crunch and creaminess was spot on, and the bread had that ideal tang of a well-fermented sourdough, elevating it beyond the everyday.nnThe burger was a highlight. The beef patty was clearly house-made, juicy, expertly cooked, and seasoned in a way that let the meat shine without being overpowering. The bun was soft yet structured, holding everything together nicely, and the garnish was fresh, simple and well-proportioned.nnFor a casual lunch by the sea, this place really hits the mark. We’ll definitely be back, hopefully next time for a long lunch in the sun on that gorgeous terrace.
