A 5 star review is far too small a gesture to recognise the efforts of all the staff at the campus medical centre. I have been in an out of GP appointments these past few weeks and every member of staff has been kind and supportive. On one occasion I aired another issue I was having - the wonderful nurse attending me at the time, Julie, not only offered advice but brought in a colleague where it was concluded that I needed antibiotics. This is just one example of how the staff go above and beyond at such a busy time.
I've always had a positive experience here, with pleasant interactions across the board with receptionists, nurses, and doctors. I am unsure why there are so many negative reviews. I have often been given a same day appointment or atleast an appointment within a week. All staff have been welcoming, friendly, and professional. Recently I have seen Dr Hassan who has been polite, thorough, and patient. I would recommend this practice.
Every single person at the practice that I’ve come across have been absolutely amazing. The receptionists are lovely people, as are the nurses and GP’s. Waiting times for appointments are never long. In fact, I would even return to halls next year just so I can stay a part of this practice. Special shout-out to Julie because she always goes above and beyond. She deserves a big raise. Truly the sweetest soul on earth.
Honestly not sure why there are so many negative reviews, makes me think you might be the problem, or maybe there is one member of staff who detests mornings or something. Had nothing but pleasant experiences personally. People are also definitely more motivated to leave a review for a negative reason. This place, as you can tell from the reviews receives dozens to hundreds of calls a day, and there's only 43 reviews, most of which 1 star. Says it all IMO. Part of the reason I'm even making this review ; Thank you drs, nurses and receptionists!
Been trying to make an appointment for the last 2 weeks...no. 25 in the phone queue this morning ! Have been on the line X 2 hrs.....sorry but not good enough when you have lectures to go to. This surgery is too small for the cohort it is covering. My parents have already had to pay for me to go privately twice and not because they can afford it but because we have no choice. I was also not given a systmonline ID when I registered a year ago, been chasing them since so cannot make appointments online either
I’ve had the pleasure of getting treated at brilliant Medical Centres at Malvern, Oxford, Kent, London; Loughborough’s is the worst. While trying to explain my leg and back conditions to the woman on phone I could hear smirking, rude and sassy attitude towards my case. After the staff failed to drop the call, I could hear every single thought she had on her mind about my conditions. unfortunately, I have 3 disc protrusions and was laughed at for being worried about my shoulder bone literally sticking out. I asked the woman for her name, she said they aren’t allowed to share such details. 3 years at Lboro = 3 years of poor medical services
Really helpful staff and kind receptionists. Got through quickly and an appointment quickly. Got the help I needed there and they went above and beyond to help me.

Rang them up today to get a refill of my heart medication and they hung up on me when it was my turn. I called in to make an appointment 3 times and the receptionist 'forgot' to make the appointment all 3 times. Once I had an appointment where I tried arranging my biannual blood test and my monthly medication. I was told that they can't find my records and that they need to talk with their peers and hung up. The call lasted 2 minutes. Then I was called back by the receptionist and was told they no longer give blood tests. I asked about my repeat medication and they said to call them tomorrow.
Reception staff are really rude! Doctors do not provide a professional service. Doctor tried calling my mobile phone twice but I was engaged. Reception staff did not inform me that the Doctor was only to call twice. Therefore I was waiting all afternoon for a phone call and missed out an important appointment!! Doctor was reviewing my migraine treatment. Very rude and rushed appointment. Wanted to reduce the strength of my migraine medication. Agreed over the phone to prescribe my previous strength of medication. However, when collecting my prescription he had reduced the strength of my medication - despite what was said on the phone call!! Utterly disappointed with such service!!
