We have been with this practice since 2016 and whilst the odd time we have not managed to obtain an appointment, 9/10 times we always do. The receptionists are always polite and helpful even when they can’t offer you an appointment that day. The doctors are equally as supportive and helpful.
Myself and my children have been registered patients at Forest House Surgery for 25 years. I would really like to send my thanks to the Reception Team, who I feel have an extremely difficult job now the systems have all changed, but have always been very kind and supportive. I would also like to send my sincere thanks to Dr Anna Beaumont; she is the most amazing doctor and has literally saved my son's life. My son has a range of complex disabilities and needs and has been in such a difficult place for a long time, yet Dr Beaumont gave him the time and space he needed to talk through his deep worries and fears about his health. Her knowledge, ability to really listen and respond in exactly the right way reached my son where others have failed. Since their talk, my son has understood how he can change things - and is doing just that which is like winning a gold medal - it is amazing! She has always been such a fantastic support to my daughter who also has complex needs and myself. To my children, Dr Beaumont is the person that listened, cared, acted and saved them. To me, she is my hero. Thank you so much Dr Beaumont - you are one in a million x
Tried multiple times to get an appointment to see a doctor went into the practice to take a referral letter at 10am and there was one person sitting in the waiting area when you are unable to get an appointment. It is very disappointing to see when it used to be a good practice. Clearly they are not measured on how many appointments they complete.
Not a good experience at this surgery unable to get appointment to see a doctor even after trying by phone at 8.30am also have had a referral not done by a doctor which should have been done in the past. I now have no faith in them ,
Friendly, helpful and supportive staff across the board. Not regulars, but when our family have needed any kind of medical support, an appointment has been available to us, on the same day if necessary. As with any surgery, patience is sometimes required at busier times.
