Stayed here this weekend as a birthday treat for my partner and it was made so much better by how friendly the man that served us was. They had pre heated the room we were staying in before we arrived and served us an amazing breakfast the next day! The bathroom was a little run down just some cracking paint, normal in a painted bathroom anyway but the place was incredibly clean so I honestly couldn't complain. To top it off the view from our room was beautiful as well! Me and partner have already agreed we'll be staying here again if/when we visit St Ives again
We visited for the 1st time to watch the footie when we were on holiday. The lady that served us was amazing. She was buzzing all the way through. Nothing was too big to accommodate us and our children. Food was lovely too, We will be back next year.Service: 5/5
Called in without an appointment, waited one and half hours. Had prawn cocktail starter which was absolutely discussing. Had ribs with chips for main meal. The ribs were really tough and tasteless. I’ve eaten some bad ribs but these were the worst ever. Also, the service was extremely poor. Would not recommend.Service: 1/5
Beautiful place we enjoyed for a week during the Platinum Jubilee. Staff was the best, friendly and always chatty. Great outdoors, and great pub drinks of all sorts to enjoy in the middle of nature. Food is nice although seating in the dining area is a little uncomfortable. Rooms are cosy and the small bottle of sherry was welcome for a night cap! Location is great if you have a car since you can get to most of West Cornwall in kess than 15 mins.
Booked the Balnoon inn for a 3 day stay, wished I could of stayed longer. The food was amazing and reasonably priced, the staff were amazing all of them and its set in beautiful country side. Rooms are slightly dated but clean and well stocked with beautiful views. Thank you Jayne and Vicki you both do an amazing job.
Lovely quiet place, really nice rooms and the breakfast was amazing! Dog friendly also! Really nice stay!Rooms: 5/5
On a Sunday afternoon 17 of us descended onto the Balnoon for a roast dinner. We were accommodated in the lovely summer room that's situated in the grounds of the Inn. Initially we didn't plan on having starters or deserts but in the end we all did!! The food was really really exceptional. There was so much when the mains arrived and there was lots of it. All of the staff were wonderful and we felt very well looked after. The chef even made a appearance and was greater with a round of applause. A really great experience which was throughly enjoyed by all. 10/10
Couldn't walk into St Ives for a meal due to the rain so decided to go for a trip. The pub we had been to was having a function so we went on to find this quirky place. Tables set nicely apart . Small menue . Food was good, service was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. A pleasant evening.
We had a lovely meal, nothing was too much trouble, we had our 2 labradors with us, very dog friendly made us feel really welcome, the staff were brilliant and always happy.Service: 5/5
