Their 30% off closing sale is a joke. Dont be fooled by inflated prices. No wonder its closing. You can't fool the public like that. So many things massively over price. Didn't see anything that was legitimately '30% off'
This place is awesome, but you'll have to be quick. The landlord's have found a company that will pay more rent are kicking them out. So there's currently 30% of everything!
Excellent and friendly service. Tiff was lovely, very helpful, and took her time to make sure we got exactly what was right for us.
There's a great range of sales items here which I'm sure will only get more and more reduced. I wish there was a Wind Scooter parking space closer to this retail park as we were visiting the area and would have been convenient. Staff were friendly and helpful if you had any questions on pricing etc.
I know it's in the middle of closing down prior to being refurbished but still. Marking everything up by 30% to then apply a pretend 30% discount is a bit underhand if you ask me. I went to buy a double burner, £45 on Amazon but I though, 30% off would be worth the drive. Imagine my surprise when I realised that the £56 price tag was AFTER the discount.. Apparently these burners normally sell for almost £70!!! I couldn't find any retail evidence of this at all. 30% off tents.... No there wasn't, after the 30% discount was applied, they all retailed for more than comparable stores, let alone Amazon. Nothing was labelled correctly either to add further confusion to the mayhem. It was like the store had just had a free for all January sale, the store had been ransacked and then management saw fit to just create an illusion of a discount process. If people have been buying goods thinking that they've picked up a bargain then more fool them. Total con...
I must strongly recommend all the team in this store for the professionalism and friendly service, it is such a shame this is let down or even betrayed by the parent companies false or misleading advertising. I have tried to purchase several items on line, they claim delivery will be 3 to 5 days however in my experience this never happens. It appears to me that all they are doing is generating cash flow for Ultimate and Go outdoors. They advertise products their effectively with no or very little chance of ever receiving your order. I would certainly buy in store however never purchase on line unless you want them to use your money for a month or two free of charge, in my opinion a dreadful and deceitful way to operate a business.
Large store selling Outdoor door clothing. Lots of different ranges of clothing under one roof. Shoes, boots, jackets, camping equipment etc is all available at discounted prices. Good place to shop but large size makes it feel overwhelming. If you can find what you are looking for it can be good value.
Brilliant service from James at the cycle service department. Had a service done for my bike, reasonably priced and results in a bike that rides like new again. When requested, good advice around cycle parts and how to upgrade parts too. Would recommend, better than other major cycle retailers in the city centre
It's a bit dark. Who decided painting the roof black would be a good idea? Also the staff I'm sure they're short staffed didn't seem particularly interested in serving me or helping me despite hovering and obviously looking round for someone to speak to. Decent selection of items, but I think I'd go elsewhere to buy anything expensive, eg hiking shoes, if you want help with fitment and choosing.
Can be expensive but also amazing value if you know what you are looking for. They have decent sales and managers specials which are worth grabbing if you are there. Accept dogs and just a generally lovely bunch of staff which is rare for a shop like this, much better the the gooutdoors type of shop, genuinely into the items they sell and super helpful - above and beyond service received from them on 2 separate occasions - I ended up spending the best part of £2k with them as I trusted the service now and in the future. Thanks guys if you read this.
