Met John at his properties whilst on a bank holiday walk. The location is amazing the setting is stunning and the history is around every corner. He let us use his own personal garden which was laid out like Port Merrion to sit and have our lunch. What a generous and kind man. An unexpected kindness made a wonderful memory- Thank-you.
We absolutely loved staying at Tyas Cottage for the Christmas period with family. The real Christmas tree made it feel extra special. Vicky and John were lovely hosts who couldn’t do enough for us. Lovely cottage in a lovely location! Would love to return!
We had a wonderful week-long stay at Tyas Cottage. The property is in a wonderful secluded location with amazing landscaped gardens and lots of photo opportunities around. Convenient for exploring the National Parks as well as nearby cities, towns and villages. Vicky and John were very responsive both before and during our stay. Will definitely recommend.
We had a such a lovely stay at Tyas Cottage. The cottage is wonderful, with everything you need, full of character, beautifully furnished and spotlessly clean. The location is unique - in the middle of woodland with stunning gardens. We were made very welcome by the owners and nothing was too much trouble. We would love to go back.Rooms: 5/5
As a family of six we spent two nights at the exquisite Tyas Cottage and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The facilities in the cottage were ideal and everything was clean and well prepared. We all loved the freedom to roam in the gardens and in the woods. Our hosts were friendly, kind and helpful. We were made to feel part of the family! The instructions were better than we have ever come across in a self-catering cottage!
We had a fantastic stay at Tyas cottage. It’s simply gorgeous and set amidst beautiful gardens. The care and thoughtfulness taken when it was sympathetically renovated is evident in the quality and finish. Now we have discovered this haven of tranquility and comfort we plan to return and are already looking at dates in the summer. Thank you to Vicky and John.
I have just got back from staying at Tyas cottage for 2 days. The home is in a beautiful location. The place is peaceful and relaxed. The house is beautifully decorated and furnished with comfortable beds, washer, dyer and a gorgeous log burning fire. The owners were wonderful and greeted us on arrival to make sure we knew how the house worked and to make sure we had settled. Would definitely recommend.
Stayed at Tyas Cottage for a weekend break with my family young children and grandparents this summer. The cottage is fabulous and is very well equipped, even having a decent internet connection! Vicky was very helpful and responsive leading up the our stay. Fantastic secluded location surrounded by wooded valley and the most amazing garden which we thoroughly enjoyed. Would definitely recommend Tyas Cottage and consider returning!
