The best B&B I've ever stayed in! Comfortable, scrupulously clean !!, warm friendly, accommodating hosts and delicious, plentiful breakfasts I was brought a cup of tea and home-baked cake on arrival, and sent off with warm scones. The historic house has been beautifully & sympathetically renovated so it's full of character without compromising on 21st C comfort. I would have happily stayed longer at this lovely establishment and look forward to returning. Highly recommended!
We stayed for one night over the Easter weekend and I would thoroughly recommend this gorgeous B&B. In the middle of the village, within walking distance of all amenities is the grand old building The Spinning Mill. Packed with period features, fantastic old fireplaces and ceiling roses, this is a welcoming and warm place to stay. The hosts, Jane and Mike are very welcoming and keen to help in any way they can. They are happy to chat but also give you space to do your own thing. Our room was beautiful and huge, very well appointed and comfortable and the bathroom was a joy. We were offered a really good choice for breakfast, which was delicious. Great atmosphere and reasonable value, too. Would stay there again.
We had a great stay here. The owners are so welcoming and friendly with nothing being too much trouble. We were in Bobbin which is not en suite but this is not an issue at all as the room is huge with its own living area and lovely large bathroom just across the corridor down a few steps. We stayed whilst visiting a local spa and had a great night out in Slaithwaite. The location is bang in the village centre with lovely pubs and restaurants surrounding it. The breakfast was beautiful in lovely surroundings, with some of the best bread we have had in any hotel or b&b!
Stayed here over a weekend, we cannot fault it at all. It's located right in the centre of the village with the coop directly across the road. We were self catering in the vault, it was very clean and comfortable, there was everything we needed and more. With freshly baked scones and jam left for us by the owners. What a welcome. Highly recommended if you are staying in or around Slaithwaite.
Absolutely stunning B&B. Owners friendly and welcoming. If you love old buildings then stay here. They've made the place beautiful in a sympathetic way but still has all mod cons. Excellent breakfast too. Can't rate it highly enough!!Rooms: 5/5
Seriously could not ask for better hosts. I absolutely loved my stay here! The Vault was clean, roomy, comfortable, and looked to have been recently remodeled. Breakfast was amazing and they even went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergy. Can't wait until I can come back again sometime.
Beautiful location overlooking the canal with stunning walks into the hills on the doorstep. Spotlessly clean rooms with added extras like a fridge, bottled water, dressing gowns and lotions. Incredibly comfortable beds. Home baking to die for and hosts that go beyond the extra mile. Absolutely worthy of 5 stars.
Excellent accommodation, both B&B and the self-catering Vault. Spacious, well equipped and close to the centre of the village and canal. Highly recommended!Rooms: 5/5
This is the fourth time we've stayed at Spinning Mill. We've always had a lovely welcome from Jane and Mick. The accommodation is of a very high quality.
