Very welcoming family run establishment. Nice and clean and the owners are very helpful and friendly and make a great cup of coffee :) Rooms are quite large and spacious with ensuite options available and have tea and coffee facilities and a TV. It is situated in Trehafod which is a quiet village but there is a well stocked shop next door. Ty-Gwyn is within walking distance of Pontypridd which is a busy town with plenty of opportunity for shopping and has plenty of options for eating and drinking. There is also a train and bus station nearby which connects the village to Cardiff city and in the surrounding area there is plenty of entertainment such as bowling, cinema, historical sites etc and there are facilities near by for outdoor activities such as quad biking, hiking, climbing, archery and clay pigeon shooting. All in all a nice B&B that offers a balance of a quiet and comfortable stay with plenty to do in the surrounding area. Highly recommended.

I have to live of biscuits because there are no cooking facilities. The rooms are very cheap and disgusting very dirty. The woman who manages everything treats the people here like scum and shes not very nice
