The Central Guesthouse is one of the best places I've stayed at. I have travelled the UK and the world, but have not received the welcome I did at the Central Guest House. John was so welcoming, the rooms were perfect, and the lounges were just brilliant. A lot of space to just stretch out or do work. And the best was almost for last - the breakfast was brilliant - you could have almost Nything you could ever want. And all this at pocket friendly prices. I can't recommend the Central Guest House enough and if I'm in Cardiff again, won't hesitate to book. Thanks for an excellent stay

I stayed 1-night for business. I found the place to be adequate for a safe environment, clean facilities, and somewhere to lay my head after a hard day's work. There was also free wifi in my room so I was able to check on emails and such before sleep. The single ensuite room I booked supplied numerous outlets, a desk, nice comforting decorations, an open wardrobe, and a great view overlooking the city and mountains. The bathroom had a walk in shower, a small assortment of toiletries, towels, toilet, comfy rug, etc. The inside of the building was quiet, I didn't notice any neighbor noise but I think it wasn't a busy night. As I often travel for business, I always bring my eye mask and a set of earplugs. The couple running the place were both very nice. A full Welsh Breakfast was included in my stay, and I chose what to have and when to be served the night before. Breakfast was in the breakfast room which had nice furnishings. I think the place is good value, nothing luxurious, more like a large B&B than a branded hotel branch. My room shared the common area down the hall, which was fully stocked with an electric kettle, tea, sugar, coffee, some biscuits and candy. That room also hosted a large plush couch and TV. Comfy Bed, semi-secured parking lot in the front with about 4 spaces, and it was a very easy check-in / check out. No hassles or issues. I would recommend this place.
